Yoongi yawned, stretching his aching limbs. Seokjin was watching from the doorway, his arms draped over his chest. "I have eyes. I can see you staring at me," Yoongi said, Jin rolling his pretty eyes. Yoongi didn't want to get up from bed, but he did anyway, groaning as he did so.
"Don't break your back, grandpa."
Jin busted out a windshield wiper laugh while Yoongi threatened to throw his slipper at him, but the older of the two was unaffected. Yoongi grumbled some curses to himself as he trudged into the bathroom, washing his face and brushing his teeth. Jin, again, watched every movement from the doorway.
"Do you ever leave me alone?" Yoongi asked.
"No."
He stopped brushing his teeth, shifting to glance at Jin. His husband waved, his eyes sparkling in the lighting of the bathroom. Ugh. Dammit, Jin was cute. He was handsome, sexy, charming, and (somewhat) funny too, but Yoongi would never, ever admit that out loud. The last thing Jin needed was an ego boost.
Out of all the people in the world, no one expected Jin and Yoongi to be together. Husbands. Soulmates. No one expected that, especially not their friends. The one who was the most shocked was Hoseok. Yeah, Yoongi was a bit gay for Hoseok, but Jin and him were soulmates above all else.
"Hurry up, babe," Jin said, putting way more emphasis than he needed to on the word 'babe'. "We have to go to the store, we're out of eggs."
"Oh, the horror," Yoongi replied with a mouthful of toothpaste, his tone a mere mumble. He kept brushing, finishing within a minute due to Jin's pep talk and moral support. Jin literally turned into a cheerleader to help Yoongi brush his damn teeth. Why the hell did Yoongi marry him again?
Jin grinned, and Yoongi grunted. Right. That was why he married Jin. Regardless, Yoongi made sure to put on edgy clothes. He knew Jin's reaction would be priceless, and he was right. Jin gasped like the dramatic man he was, throwing a hand over his heart.
"Yoongles, what is wrong with you?"
"A lot," Yoongi said with a gummy smile, Jin dropping his act to return the expression. Jin pecked his forehead, and Yoongi pretended to hate it. Deep down, he loved it more than anything. Jin knew that too. Yoongi certainly loved affection, he was just bad at saying that. But he wasn't cold, either. He made sure Jin felt loved, and he made sure the man was well-fed and hydrated. Words, however. Those darn things were not his forte. He wished he could have explained in detail what Jin meant to him. He managed to write good vows for the wedding, but in daily life, he couldn't come up with the right-
"You're taking too long," Jin said, pulling Yoongi from his thoughts.
"Oops." Yoongi took Jin's hand, his husband's eyes expanding from the contact. He didn't complain though. Jin guided Yoongi out of their abode and to the car. They dipped inside, Jin choosing to drive since Yoongi was still half-asleep. Or more like fully asleep. Yoongi rested his head on the window the entire ride.
That was another thing. Yoongi sucked at car rides. He preferred them to be silent so he could think. Jin, on the other hand, loved blasting music and talking like it was a party. The balance was Jin would play music and speak, but not expect much response from Yoongi. It was a nice balance. One that Yoongi deeply appreciated. Again, if only he could show it more. Curse the world for not gifting him with wordsmith powers.
Five minutes later, they were at the store. Jin opened Yoongi's car door for him like the 'gentleman' he was, and Yoongi accepted the help. They held hands again, waddling to the entrance and slipping inside. Jin grabbed the cart, and right away the aroma of fresh fruits and vegetables blasted against Yoongi's nostrils. He winced from the sudden force of it, then relaxed and even bathed in it.
