Yue fluttered her eyes open, she felt Kyojuro's body heat radiating off of him onto her back, his bare chest was against her back, he was snoring lightly, his arm lazily dangling over her stomach. Why was he still here? She swore he said he had a mission today.
"Okaasan! Otosan!" She heard a little voice call and pushed open the door. There stood the little boy and a little girl followed. It's been 4 years since the two have gotten married, they have a 3 year old son, Chenjuro.(pronounced Chen-Juro) and a 1 year old girl Ruka named after Kyojuro mother. Ruka took after Yue with light brown hair, beautiful blue eyes and carmel skin while Chenjuro took after Kyojuro, blonde hair, the red streaks starting to appear, black forked eyebrows, golden eyes and fairly white skinned.
"What are my babies doing up so early" Yue asked sitting up, Kyojuro arm falling off her waist.
"We missed you!" Chenjuro said walking further in to the room with Ruka trotting behind.
"Be quiet now, Otosan is still asleep and you know he gets grumpy when he doesn't want to be woken up" Yue joked getting up going over to her kids.
"Hmmm.. how does pancakes and bacon sound?" She asked her kids as she bent down to their level and they nodded their head.
"Would you like to help me with it?" She added and the two kids were already out the door towards the kitchen causing her to giggle softly
"I told you, you would be a great mother" Kyojuro said as he sat up in bed, the blanket falling to his waist showing off his chest. Yue blushed at the sight turning away from her husband as he stood up.
"I still can make my pretty girl blush" Kyojuro chuckled going over to her and wrapping his arms around her.
"Wanna go for baby number 3" Kyojuro whispered in her ear and shivers vibrated throughout her body.
"Mmm not right now Kyo" she said.
"Why not? My father wanted me to have three kids and I got some more tricks I can show you" he said lightly biting her neck.
"Kyojuro!" She said slapping his arm.
"Not in front of the kids" she added as she saw the two little heads peak into the room.
"Otosan.. are you going to give us a new baby brother or sister?" Chenjuro innocently asked and Yue blushed.
"Oh I sure am. right Okaasan?" Kyojuro teased turning to the women who covered her blushing face with her hands earning a low chuckle from the man.
"We'll let Okaasan rest for a little, I'll cook breakfast with you two" Kyojuro said pushing the kids out of the room.
"Be ready once I put them down for a nap" Kyojuro winked as he put on a shirt and followed the kids into the kitchen leaving a heavily blushed Yue by herself. She must admit, after the two got married, Kyojuro really showed his.. intimate side. He didn't believe in sex before marriage which is why he was respectful to wait until they got married and she was surprised, to think that a man who respects women and has never been sexual intimate knows how to please her very well.
Yue shook out of her dirty thoughts as her face returned back to its normal color and she walked into the kitchen stopping in the hallway to listen to Kyojuro.
"Otosan.. why do you love Okaasan so much?" Chenjuro asked.
"Why do I love her?" Kyojuro repeated the question as he mixed the pancake batter.
"She's perfect, she's funny, kind, protective, amazing and most importantly she's my flame" Kyojuro responded to his son.
"Your flame?" Chenjuro asked.
"She lights up my world much like a candle would light up a room. Take her away and it's like a breeze of air blew the candle out. Your mother is a great person Chenjuro, people would say that I saved her but in reality, she saved me literally.. you're way too young to understand but once you get older and find a girl, you'll know what I mean" Kyojuro said as he flipped over the pancake in the pan.
After he finished the pancakes and the bacon, he let it cool off before cutting it into pieces for Ruka and Chenjuro to eat easier. He set the two plates down with two cups of juice in it. He placed two more plates down with two cups of coffee before sitting down himself. Yue made her presence known as she walked out into the kitchen.
"You've calmed down?" Kyojuro asked smiling as Yue sat down next to him.
"It's your fault" she mumbled eating the food and mumbled it's good to her husband.
Once breakfast was done and the two watched their kids play outside for a while. Senjuro and Shinjuro visited the house, Shinjuro was so happy when Kyojuro got married but he was excited to find out he was going to be a grandfather and Senjuro was excited to be a uncle. Senjuro became a Demon Slayer and Kyojuro has been very supportive as he still was the currant Flame Hashira(although he has talked to Yue about retiring so he doesn't continue to worry her that one day he won't come home as Yue now only works at the butterfly estate as a nurse instead of going on missions) Shinjuro sobered up and even started to mingle more.
Giyuu was happy for Yue and even though he doesn't do well with children.. or people for that matter, he still volunteers to babysit when needed. The other Hashira's adore Ruka and Chenjuro, Kyojuro brings them to headquarters sometimes. Tengen, Mitsuri and Shinobu are the three who really love to play with the kids while the other Hashira don't mind their presence but.. they aren't a fan of children.
Zenitsu, Inosuke and Tanjiro are all steps away from becoming Hashira's, they all have gotten stronger in their own ways and Yue is proud of them. She visits Tanjiro and Nezuko (who unfortunately is still a demon) as much as possible. Life is going good for everyone and hopefully it continues to be a happily ever after.
"Are they asleep?" Yue asked as she read her book sitting on her side of the bed. Kyojuro slid the door closed before sitting next to her.
"Yeah, they're asleep" Kyojuro said staring at her before grabbing the book out of her hand.
"Kyo.. I was reading that" she whined as he put the book mark in the book before closing it and placing it on the ground.
"You won't need that right now" he said inching towards her, his hands slowly reaching her waist.
"And why is that?" She teased, leaning closer to him.
"Chenjuro wants another sibling right?" Kyojuro smirked and grabbed Yue, smashing his lips onto hers, pulling her close.
"You sure we should have a 3rd baby? I think two is enough" Yue panted pulling away from the kiss, Kyo flipped them over so he was on top as he pinned her arms down on the bed.
"Then let's have fun for the hell of it" he said kissing her neck.
"Kyo" she whispered.
"Keep saying my name pretty girl"
