Story: Kyojuro falls asleep on Yue
Yue hummed to herself as she cleaned the estate, Kyojuro was on a mission while she didn't have one yet. She decided to do some laundry, vacuum the carpet, wash the dishes and now she was wiping down the coffee table that resides in the main room.
She missed Kyojuro. He's been gone for three days now on a mission that made her jealous. He had to flirt with a girl who was getting men to come to her house so the demon that resided there could devour them. He had to get her attention and basically get her to take him to her house. And Yue knew with Kyojuro charm, that would happen but even if it was a mission and he was faking everything he said to the girl, it still made her jealous. He should be flirting with Yue not some random chick but then again.. it's for a mission. But Yue convinced herself that she had the right to be mad.
why couldn't Oyakata-Sama send someone else... but when she really thought about it.. Shinobu and Mitsuri are girls, Tengen has three wives, Muichiro is 14, Giyuu, Obanai, and Sanemi wouldn't be able to play the flirting part as they either wouldn't talk at all or scare away the female.. Gyomei, he's too much of a gentle giant to be able to willingly flirt with a girl which only left Kyojuro. The charming hyperactive Flame Pillar.. didn't matter, she was still jealous.
She scoffed to herself as she was sitting on the ground finishing wiping down the coffee table making it look clean as new.
"I swear, if I find out she kisssed him or even touched him, I'm killing someone" Yue mumbled to herself as she heard the door slide open, she turned her head and saw Kyojuro tiredly walk into the house. He shut the door and kicked off his sandals.
"Kyo?" Yue called out from the floor she was sitting on, a couple feet away from the coffee table. Kyojuro slowly walked over to her and she saw the bags under his eyes, his shoulders hung low... he was exhausted. The demon he fought was way more powerful then he thought making him have to actually try to kill it, which he successfully did.. Yue didn't want to imagine one of the Hashira's knocking on her door saying that he succumbed to his injuries from a demon... one that wasn't even a Kizuki.
"Hey pretty girl" he mumbled approaching her, he shrugged off his Haori, wrapping it around her like she was a coat rack before he plopped down in front of her and tipped over so his body was on the ground but his head was in her lap, his arms wrapping around her waist like a pillow.
"Kyojuro, are you okay?" She asked. He nodded slowly grabbing her hand and guiding it to his hair which she gracefully placed her hand on his head and played with his hair earning a low sigh from him.
"I'm okay, just tired is all" he responded fluttering his eyes closed. They sat in silence for some time and after a while, Yue could hear Kyojuro soft snores filling the room.
'I wonder what he went through, he's exhausted!'
Yue continued to run her fingers through his hair as he slept peacefully. She smiled down at the boy. His face was calm and relaxed, his legs were curled up slightly. He was not at all uncomfortable with sleeping on the bare floor. His Haori hugged Yue body but she took it off and draped it over Kyojuro like a blanket. Soon after the door rattled as someone knocked.
"Come in" she quietly called out but loud enough for the person to hear.
"Sorry for the interruption Yue-San but the master requested Rengo-" Mitsuri started to say but stopped mid sentence as she saw Yue place a finger to her lips shushing the Love Hashira, Mitsuri looked down and saw Kyojuro fast asleep in Yue arms and Yue saw Mitsuri smile lightly.
"I'll tell master that Rengoku-San is sleeping but make sure you send him to Oyakata-Sama once he awakens" Mitsuri quietly said trying not to wake the sleeping man.
"Thank you Mitsuri-Chan" Yue replied as the Love Pillar smiled again before closing the door leaving the couple alone.
After some time, Yue's behind started to hurt from sitting on the ground for so long that she had no choice but to wake up Kyojuro.
"Kyo" she whispered pushing his shoulder slightly. He groaned and tighten his grip around her waist.
"Come on Kyo, let's go lay in bed" she said softly patting his head. He opened his eyes slightly as he sat up and rubbed the sleepiness out of his eyes.
"How long was I asleep for?" He asked softly as he stood up and helped Yue stand up as well.
"Only about an hour, you can lay down in bed and sleep some more Kyo" Yue said
"I haven't reported back to Oyakata-sama yet about my mission. Let me go speak with him quickly and when I come back I'll sleep some more" he responded as he wrapped his Haori around his shoulders.
"Promise me you'll sleep more when you come back, you still look tired" Yue said and he nodded his head.
"I promise" he said holding out his pinky to her, she smiled lightly before locking her pinky with his.
"Let's seal this promise with a kiss" Kyojuro said pulling her close and before he could kiss her, she turned her head so he kissed her cheek instead.
"Pretty girl?" Kyojuro ruffled his eyes brows in confusion.
"Kyo... what did you have to do when you flirted with that girl for the mission?" Yue asked and Kyojuro sighed softly.
"Is that the reason why you wouldn't kiss me?" He asked and she nodded slightly looking down.
"I didn't kiss her if that's what you're wondering Snowflake.. The only thing that I touched was her hand when she grabbed mine but nothing else, I swear pretty girl" Kyojuro explained and watched Yue look at his hands in disgust.
"Did you wash your hands?" She asked and he chuckled lightly.
"Of course" he responded but she didn't seem very convinced.
"With bleach?" She joked and he gave her a 'really' look.
"Go wash them again" she said.
"I will when I come back Yue.. I have to go see Master now okay?" He said kissing her forehead.
"Mkay" she responded and he smiled before walking towards the door, he slipped on his sandals and started to head out the door.
"You sure the only thing you touched was her hands?"
"Yes pretty girl.. plus, why would I touch another women when I have one to please at home?"
I really just be coming up this these stories on the spot, or when I see a picture of a Kyojuro X OC, I can think of a story to write that's based off the photo.. so credits to whoever made that photo because they gave me the idea of this chapter.
