The ending

**I'll explain at the end if this chapter sounds confusing.

Yue gasped and sat up quickly in bed at the butterfly estate. Kyojuro was laying next to her fast asleep. She looked around her old bedroom confused. Her nor Kyojuro had any wounds so why were they there? And where are her children?

"Why are we at the butterfly estate? Don't we have our own house?. Where's Chenjuro and Ruka?" Yue said to herself as she raked a hand through her hair, when she didn't feel the cold sensation of her wedding ring she looked down at her hand and didn't see the ring on her left index finger.

"Shit! My ring" Yue whispered-yelled to herself, she quietly got up and searched the bed for the ring trying her hardest not to wake up Kyojuro but she had no luck in finding the ring.

"Where could I have put it?" She asked herself and saw Kyojuro stir in his sleep. He fluttered his eyes open and looked up at the girl.

"Pretty Girl? What are you doing up so early" he yawned sitting up.

"Kyo, don't hate me but.. I lost my ring" she said nervously and saw him tilt his head to the side in confusion

"What ring?" He asked and Yue was taken aback.

"Um.. my wedding ring?" She replied but it came out more like a question than a statement.

"We're married?" Kyojuro questioned and Yue eyes shifted down to his left hand where he also didn't have a ring.

"Kyo" she trailed off as he pushed the covers off him, he got up from the bed and walked towards her.

"Yue, are you feeling okay?" He asked placing a hand to her forehead to see if she had a temperature.

"I'm fine! Are you okay Kyo, I swear we are married" she said swatting the man hand away.

"Yue, I haven't even proposed to you yet." He pointed out and she gasped lightly.

"W-what are you talking about? We got married after the Mugen Train and the fight with the Upper Moon and we almost died in that fight and my Hanafuda earrings and.. and you got fed up with me at one point because I started to lose myself, we have two children...do you not remember any of that!" Yue babbled and Kyojuro started to get scared.

"Maybe I should go get Kocho-San" he mumbled as he headed for the door but Yue stopped him.

"You're telling me, you don't remember taking me with you to go investigate those 40 people who disappeared, you don't remember saving those 200 people on that train. Surely you remember that" she said and Kyojuro sighed.

"Pretty Girl, I have no idea what you're talking about.. you just mentioned the 40 people.. Oyakata-Sama talked to me about that mission, I don't leave for that mission for another two days from now" he said and Yue stepped back ruffling her eyebrows, she had no idea what was going on.

"S-so you're telling me.. you haven't went on that mission yet?" She questioned and he nodded his head.

"That's exactly what I'm saying. Are you sure you're okay? It's been only two days since you were attacked by that demon that gave you the scar.. are you sure you don't want me to go get Kocho-San" Kyojuro said as Yue walked, more like stomped over to the mirror and looked at her scar... it was fresh meaning it happened recently. She gently placed her hand on the pinkish skin that outlined her forehead going down pass her eye and ended at her chin.

"What the hell is happening" she whispered to herself.

"Yue" Kyojuro hesitantly said walking towards her.

"Was it all just a dream? Maybe deja vu? Maybe it's a warning" she whispered to herself and Kyojuro really started to get scared for her mental health.

"What do you mean Snowflake?" He asked and she slowly turned to him.

"Either I was dreaming or something Kyo, but the whole Mugen Train mission flashed before me and the events that occurred afterwards.. I swear I lived through that" she said and Kyo stood still as he processed her words. He contemplated for a minute before walking towards the door pushing it open

"That's it, I'm getting Kocho"

"Wait Kyo!" She said running after him, he turned around and grabbed her wrist.

"Stop it Yue, cause you're really starting to scare me. We were sleeping fine and now all of a sudden you start saying this crazy stuff about fighting an Upper Moon and almost dying" Kyojuro whispered as he didn't want to be too loud to wake up the residents of the estate as the door was open and Kyojuro was halfway out in the dark hallway.

"You've got to believe me Kyo! I saw it happen" she begged her boyfriend and he sighed walking back into the room and shutting the door.

"Tell me everything you saw" he said sitting on the bed patting the spot next to him. Yue smiled lightly as she sat down and started to explain.

Some information that Yue spoke from her so called "dream" startled Kyo like when she mentioned, she almost died giving up her life for his or how her mental health broke apart causing her to have bad paranoia. She talked about how she grew a bond with Tanjiro-Kun and how her and Kyojuro got married and had two kids. She talked and talked and talked and all Kyojuro did was listen.

"So what you're saying is, we got married and had two kids, Chenjuro and Ruka?" Kyojuro questioned and Yue nodded smiling.

"You picked the names out" she said softly and saw Kyojuro smile.

"Of course I did, that's why they have amazing names" Kyojuro said.

"Don't boost your ego like that.. anyway, there was this one time where you cooked breakfast for the kids and Chenjuro asked why you loved me... but I wanna hear what your answer would be now" Yue said playing with her fingers and Kyojuro smiled.

"Why I love you? Well that's easy, I love you because you're perfect, you're funny, kind, protective, amazing and most importantly you're my flame" he said whispering the last part as he gently grabbed her to pull her closer.

"That's exactly what you said to our kids" Yue smiled and Kyojuro kissed her cheek.

"And I'll say it again and again and again" Kyojuro said causing Yue to softly chuckle.

"I don't really understand how you saw all of this Pretty Girl, but as long as you are still by my side whether we are fighting demons or taking care of our children.. I'm glad I'm doing it all with you" he whispered bringing her in for a kiss not knowing that outside the door listening the whole time was the one and only Giyuu Tomioka. He smiled lightly at the thought of the two couple being together. His cousin was happy which made him happy.

Explanation: basically, Yue woke up and realized that everything that happened after she recovered from that first demon she encountered in the beginning of the book was all just some sort of warning and basically a dream.
