**the next day**
"I found a way to get rid of those earrings Haru!" Ayaka exclaimed smiling.
"And how do you plan on that?" He replied shifting his gaze over to his wife.
"Drowning her"
"What! Ayaka, I thought you wanted to keep her alive!" Haru said his eyes widening.
"I do, just watch. It'll all play out perfectly, she won't die and the curse will be gone" Ayaka smiled as the two watched their daughter in the real world.
Yue hummed slightly to herself as she walked down to the river in the backyard of the Rengoku residence with a bucket, inside the bucket was basket full of her dirty yukata's, Haori, Kyojuro Demon Slayer uniform, soap and a washing board. She decided it's best to at least try to be productive and wash some clothes.
Being here did improve her health and she started to feel better but for some reason, she felt like something bad was going to happen. It was the brink of dawn so it was still chilly outside which Yue didn't mind, at least she wouldn't be dying of sweat if she had waited until the afternoon. Before she left, she made breakfast for the men. Kyojuro was still asleep when she left but he's probably already awake to either train Senjuro or train by himself. Either way, she'll be able to tell if he has awoken as the river wasn't so far from the house itself.
Kyojuro walked into the kitchen as he just woke up, he tried to get dressed but his uniform was missing so he was wearing a regular dark blue male Yukata(yes, men wear them too). As he walked into the kitchen, he saw Senjuro sitting at the table. He knew his father probably hasn't woken up yet.
"Onii-Chan" Senjuro called out and patted the seat next to him. Kyojuro smiled lightly as he grabbed some toast before sitting next to his brother.
"Have you seen Yue-San? She wasn't in the room when I awoke" Kyojuro asked as he spread some butter on his toast.
"I saw her walk outside with the washing bucket. I think she's doing laundry" Senjuro responded and Kyojuro nodded his head, a small smile appeared on his face as he took a bite of the toast.. he was happy that she's getting better. She was doing a lot better and that warmed Kyojuro heart.
The twos early meal was interrupted as they both heard a piercing scream. The two brothers glanced at each other before Kyojuro got up, stopping his younger brother from getting up.
"Stay here" Kyojuro demanded as he grabbed his sword and ran outside to find the source of the scream, as he rounded the corner he saw Aiko, the family doctor kneeled on the ground holding her mouth with wide eyes.
"Aiko-san! What happened" Kyojuro asked rushing over to the older lady. She was in her 50s, brownish, grayish hair and much shorter than Yue. She came by every day to make sure Shinjuro was alright(more like to lecture him for drinking). Today was one of those days but something else caught her eye...
