Denki awoke, feeling hollow, like the life had been sucked out of him. He sat up against the back wall, with mass struggle, and let tears of pity roll down his face. Once he calmed down his face remained in a sombre frown. 'When he said my mum wanted to leave me...did that mean she didn't actually leave or...d-did he kill her...' Denki wiped some of the blood and dirt off his face, wincing when his shirt touched the cuts on either side of his face. 'If he did, I swear, I'll kill him.' He heard the door begin to open and was ready to finally fight back against that man, even if it killed him. But it wasn't him, it was the person they called Benny. "The fuck you want?" Denki said, annoyed that it wasn't Itsuki. Ben ignored the comment. "You've been out for a week if you wanted to know." Denki rolled his eyes. "Woohoo great." There was an awkward silence. "They're planning something big, really big. They might use you until you die, you know." Denki looked down at the ground with sort of glazed eyes. "Who gives a shit." "I'm sure you're friends and people who care about you do." He played with his hands. "Well I'm not going to get out of here so yeah." Benny peeked out the door to make sure no one was around. "What if I helped you escape?" Denki looked at him with surprise. "You'd do that for me? Why?" "Because I know what it's like to have a dad like yours and I never agreed to extremely torturing someone." Ben gave him some soup and bread. "Thank you Benny, for everything." He smiled. "S'okay kid, I'll get ya out of here." Denki gave his empty soup bowl back to him. Ben waved goodbye and closed the door on his way out, leaving Denki hopeful for the first time in a while.

A few hours later, Denki was thinking of some of the happy memories from his life. The few ones with his mother, baking and reading bedtime stories of heroes and how she always wanted to become one but then she met him. And the ones with hitoshi. The ones where he would wake in the middle of the night from nightmares and Hitoshi would be there to comfort and hug him, the ones where he stopped Denki from hurting himself or thinking bad thoughts, the ones where Hitoshi would smile at Denki with those smiles that were just reserved for him. 'There's no way on earth Hitoshi was using me, it was more like I was using him.' Just as Denki felt a small sample of relief that the voices went away, the door began to open and in came the whole gang. Kurumi ran over and put their hands on his face. "Mr Waru I want this boy fed more so his face stays nice and plump." Mr Waru smiled. "Whatever you want Mi. Ben pick up the trash and take him to the dining hall. He'll need his energy for tomorrow." Ben silently followed Mr Waru's orders and picked up the boy bridal style. Denki squinted violently as he was taken into a hall with seemingly blinding lights. It looked as though the tables were like the great hall ones from harry potter, meaning there were a lot more people in the organisation/gang thing than the ones he had met. Ben set down a few pieces of pizza and a glass of water in front of Denki. "So" Denki whispered "What was that Waru guy on about when he said I'll need my energy?" Ben sat down opposite him. "They're planning a big attack for the day after tomorrow and they're gonna take your electricity from you tomorrow for it. Meaning we don't have long to plan your escape." "My escape? Aren't you coming with?" Ben shook his head and looked at his hands. "I'll live and die in this mafia gang." Denki took a bite of his pizza. "That's the most fucking cliche thing to say." Ben smirked. "True true but be real, what would I do back out in the world. Start a new life and go to college or something?" He laughed. "I've killed multiple people, who deserved it of course, but society don't forgive that easy." Denki frowned but nodded. "Enough about me, more about our plans. I'll get to you early tomorrow morning and then I'll get you out of the building, after that it's up to you to get out of the area." Denki stood up and gave Ben a hug. "I don't think I could thank you enough." Ben smiled a jasper battle scars smile. "Don't worry bout it kid, let's get you back to your room before they get suspicious."

Hitoshi sat still on his bed. It had been two weeks since Denki had gone missing and there had been no leads in the past week at all. He ran his fingers through his hair, although his sleep was better the situation was still extremely stressful. Hitoshi and a few of the others had raided all of the known T.E.P hideouts but to no avail. Denki was nowhere to be found but that didn't dampen anyone's ambition to help. Midoriya had compiled an extensive report of each person who was involved, Todoroki stole 2000 bucks and camera equipment from his dad, Sero and Jirou hacked into over a hundred surveillance cameras in the city, and so on and so on. Hitoshi still felt as though the world had lost its purpose, like all of this was for nothing and Denki was in a ditch somewhere, his decaying corpse getting munched on by the maggots of death. As Hitoshi's thoughts went spiraling down the pole to hell, Aizawa opened the door. With a weary lifeless demeanour he looked up at his father. "Hi." Aizawa sat next to him. "Hey, haven't talked to you for a while so I thought I'd stop by." Hitoshi's eyes went back to his hands. "We talked yesterday." "Yeah but we didn't really talk talk." Hitoshi sighed then kicked off his shoes and brought his back to the wall. "So what did you want to talk about?" Aizawa did the same as him. "You. How you're going, what's on your mind, how you're plans on finding Denki are." Hitoshi snapped his head to look at his father. "W-what plans, ha ha there are no plans." Aizawa slightly snickered. "I heard Kiri discussing it with Mina today and all the times before, don't worry though I won't tell anyone as of yet but the T.E.P are dangerous son. If you ever run into trouble, call me straight away." Hitoshi nodded. "Now onto more important topics, are you okay?" "Y-" Aizawa interrupted him. "Don't lie boy, you don't need to bottle your emotions up." Hitoshi teared up and covered his face but Aizawa still noticed. As soon as he put his arms around him, Hitoshi latched onto his father and silently cried into his shoulder. "Every-*inhale*-thing-*inhale*-is-*inhale* -so-*inhale*-fucking-*inhale*-stress-*inhale*-ful-*inhale*" Aizawa combed his fingers through Hitoshi's hair. "I can't say that it'll all be okay or that I understand what you're going through completely but what I know is that we can try to make everything okay, we just got to push on until the end of this thing." Hitoshi had calmed down slightly. "B-but what if we can't find him, what if he's dead?" "We just gotta hope, hope and try and then find him. Gotta get up and try and try and try." Hitoshi weakly laughed. "Since when do you listen to pink?" Aizawa chuckled as well. "I'm not that old." He stood up and dragged Hitoshi to stand with him. "What do ya say we go do some training, for old times sake." Hitoshi smiled devilishly. "If you can keep up old man." He ran out the door, Aizawa hurried to catch up. "I'm not that old!"

Denki waited excitedly on the morning of the great escape, it was like Christmas but instead of presents he was escaping his psycho sperm donor and friends which made it 100 times better. He couldn't wait to be in the safe arms of Hitoshi. Denki's head shot up as he heard footsteps approaching, Ben was finally here! As soon as the door opened, his smile dropped like an anvil. Mr Waru stood in the doorway dragging a half conscious body with him. "Well well well looky what we have here, a pair of weasels on the road to death." Ben landed on the floor with a thud and a groan. "And you know what we do to weasels here?" Ben made eye contact with Denki and mouthed "I'm sorry." "We kill them." Denki flinched at the sound of the gun and flinched again when he saw blood dripping out of the lifeless Ben's head. His mouth layed wide open "Get up you fucking piece of shit, it's time for you to go back to the chair." Denki scrambled backwards and realised all hope was void when he hit the wall. "No running from this boy." Mr Waru cackled and Denki wished he was dead.
