{Kacchan's POV}

I make my way to the bathroom. When I enter the first thing I'm met with is Deku sitting on the floor with his hands in his hair.
"Deku?" He looks up at me with a red face. I crouch down next to him carefully watching Shadow, seeing if I'm not overstepping it's boundaries.
"What are you doing here?" I look back at Deku.
"Are you ok?" Not having a real answer to his question, I avoid it with another. I don't know why I'm following him around all the time. Suppose I just like him.
"No." The immediate respons catches me off guard slightly. "What's wrong then?" All I get back is a hateful look.
"It's non of your concern. Go back to class I'll be right there." Instead of doing the smarter thing and listening I sit down next to him quietly.
For almost 5 minutes we're just sitting there silently.
"Kacchan?" I look down at him with a questioning look.
"What all do you know about that villain they're discussing in class?" What's with the random question all of a sudden?
"Ehm.. not that much, I've seen a wanted poster across the street from my house but nothing more really."
"Ok." With that he stands up and leaves. That's strange, right?

When I come back into class all eyes are on me.
"Sorry it took so long." I mutter before sitting down behind Deku as usual. The lecture goes on until lunch.

{Deku's POV}

During lunch I go outside, as expected closely followed by Kacchan, Uraraka and Iida, who in their place had invited a few other people. These people being: Tokoyami, Todoroki and Tsuyu.
"What was that all about earlier?" Uraraka asks after a while. I just shrug, continuing to read on my phone as if nothing happened at all. Kacchan also doesn't answer.
"Ok then.." Uraraka mutters sadly. From the corner of my eye I see Todoroki looking at me, I look up at him with questioning eyes.
"Do you need something?" I ask cautiously. He shakes his head and turns back to his cold soba. "If you say so." Kacchan sits down next to me, frowning slightly. "Something wrong Kacchan?"
"Are we still hanging out today?" He asks, obvious concern in his voice. I roll my eyes, I already told him we were fine. Why does he keep asking?
"Yes. We're fine." I mutter annoyed as I'm repeating this for the 3rd time today and shifting my attention back to my phone frowning.
"Ok."

School is over, when I go home I change and tell Kurogiri telling him I'll be out for a while, lying about the fact that I have a killing job to do.
"Yeah, I'll get food on the way. No I'm not hanging with heroes shut up. You can check with Shiggy I have a killing job. Yeah bye. I'll text you when you can pick me up, asshole." And with that I leave, mostly cause I notice Kacchan had texted me. I text back that I'll be right outside the school borders, forcing a small smile.

"Sorry for that. Boss being annoying." I mean, technically I'm not lying. The only thing is that Kurogiri isn't my boss. Kacchan nods and looks at my phone for a second.
"Are you sure you can hang out then? If your boss needs you or somethi-"
"Kacchan. I'm fine, I got someone to fall in for me." I state nonchalantly, this was a lie, Kurogiri would probably just work overtime. With that we leave to the city.

"So.. What do you wanna do?" I shrug, right as we walk past a restaurant I know because I stole leftover food from it.
"We can get something to eat?" I offer, cracking a small smile as Kacchan's eyes light up upon seeing the fancy restaurant.
"That'll be fucking expensive.." He mutters, I shrug and pull him inside. "H-hey- You shouldn't just pull me with you. Nor should you spend so much money on a restaurant like this." Once again I just shrug, now making my way to the reception.
"I've got the money, recently got payed." I explain, another lie. Kurogiri had given me extra money to make sure I ate properly for once. Kacchan hesitated but didn't complain anymore as I got us a table and they seated us. When they ask what we'd like to drink he looks at the menu for a moment, then orders a soda. I also look at it for a second.
"One for me too please." I smile. The server nods and walks away. "This is still too expensive.." I hear Kacchan mutter under his breath. I look at him for a second, just glancing over the menu card.
"The food here is good. And I have the money to afford it. What's the issue?" Kacchan doesn't answer, as expected.
"Shadow go sit down somewhere, people are staring." I glare at the shadow as he sits down next to my chair, it hands me some thing he'd stolen from the people around us, smartass. These things included money, which was great, but also golden bracelets, rings and other expensive shit.
The waiter comes back with our drinks and in the meantime asks what we'd like to eat.
"The pasta please, without celery though." I state. Kacchan also orders the pasta and the waiter leaves again.
"Have you been here before?" He asks after some time of silence. I just nod in respons. "Yeah, my boss took me here once when I refused to eat." That's a complete lie but oh well, Kacchan doesn't have to know that. Another short silence before our food arrives.
"And here's the check. Just call someone over when you're ready to pay." The waiter says. "I will." I state shortly as the waiter is already leaving. We start eating and Kacchan tries asking about my job.
"I thought you already knew, I work at a bar." I state distantly. "Deku?" My attention snaps back to him, I'm honestly not sure where it was before that.
"Hm?"
"A bar usually doesn't pay enough to afford such cloths or a restaurant like this." I hesitate, I mean, he's right. Which is unusual. Kacchan keeps staring at me until I react. "You're right. It usually doesn't no. I work a lot overtime, sometimes until midnight." I lie.. Not really a lie but ok. Kurogiri is away a lot recently, something with Doctor's new experiment or so I heard.
"Oh.. You should take some time off." I crack a smile, oh I wish I could. A villain's life doesn't just take a break. "That's the thing, I can't. I'm already lucky I got someone to fall in for me today." Kacchan just nods slowly and turns back to his food, understandable.

when we're done eating I call over a waiter to pay. But instead of just handing her the money I stand up and tell the girl to follow me, she does so hesitantly. Just now Shadow stands up and follows us.
When we're out of Kacchan's, or well, anyone's sight, it hands me my mask, the girl just stares at me in dismay.
"Y-y-you're-"
"Yeah. Don't mention it." I groan. Why do people always act as if I don't know who I am? I gesture to Shadow, who gets the memo and grabs the girl, we're now somewhere in one of the storage rooms. I grab one of the smallest syringes I have and look at it, it's one of the newer ones I hadn't tested out yet. A blue liquid, clearly different from the deep red shade of the last one.
"You think it'll blow someone up again?" Shadow shrugs, as always it's vaguely seen. The girl is still just staring, now more terrified then anything else. "This will only hurt a lot." I state smiling and shifting my mask to show it.
I insert the blueish liquid into the girl's veins and tell Shadow to let her go. I take a few steps back to see what happens, already shifting my mask back to its original place.
"You make sure Kacchan already gets out of here." I tell Shadow, who nods vaguely and leaves. He's become more obedient after I started paying more attention to it. Shifting my attention back to the girl I see that her eyes had turned bloodshot and multiple of the veins in her eyes had just popped, blood already leaking out her eyes.
"Wicked.." I mutter, writing down what was happening. She gasped a little when another vein popped, this one in her wrist, being the one I originally injected the liquid into.
"I'll leave you to it. I have a.. date to catch up to." I state nonchalantly, taking off my mask and hiding it in my coat for once. I put my notebook next to the syringes.

I come outside and Kacchan comes walking towards me, asking what took me so long.
"Some complications with my card, sorry." I lie, with that we leave, it's already getting darker and I feel like Kurogiri is gonna cuss me out if I stay out too late, especially after yesterday evening.
"I'll bring you home, as long as your mom doesn't see or recognize me I'll be fine." Kacchan nods, smiling slightly. How fine that he didn't ask further about what those issues with my card were. "Why can't you just come back home?" I shrug, I wouldn't explain that I'm a wanted villain.
"I don't think anyone would really care-"
"I would. I don't even know where you live and can never visit or anything." I feel my ears redden slightly. Upon realizing what he'd said Kacchan reddens, obviously trying to hide the fact. "Sorry.." He mutters quietly.
"No worries." I whisper back, the rest of the way it's silent, besides the soft thuds of our shoes on the pavement and cars driving by every once in a while.
