Part 17

The next day Ace told me he'd pick me up from school to make sure I didn't wonder off again and if he wasn't there by the time I was done I should just wait by the gates. Great. I pretty much just got a parent.

Kacchan did come to school today, he was extremely clingy and didn't want to do much, and when the talk about what happened begin he just stayed silent.
"His mom got killed." I explain, looking down at the extremely vulnerable blond cuddling against me, which was hard to do seeing we were sitting at our desks. "I'm so sorry.. Do they know who did it?" Before I could answer All Might entered to start class, he took one look at me and Kacchan and turned away, not even telling Kacchan to sit in his own seat, Uraraka for once took his place, seeing he was sitting in her usual spot.
"Ok today we're gonna continue the lesson about the masked villain." Once again he took a glance at Kacchan, before putting up a picture of my artwork. I recognized it as the picture the police had taken once they were done examining the body.
"This is the last known victim of the villain, Mitsuki Bakugou." Multiple glances at Kacchan. To my surprise Shadow glared back at everyone who looked at him.
"That's disgusting." I mutter, trying to play off the fact that I'm the one that did it. All Might just nodded at my statement, changing to picture to a better angle to better see what I carved into the body.
"Who would do such a thing?" Uraraka muttered quietly, I bet she's looking at the picture in horror.
"Bakugou, you're the one that found the body, correct?" Iida asked, insensitive. Now everyone turned around to Kacchan, who is looking at the screen with the same horror as everyone else. "..Yeah." He mutters slowly.
"I went to pick something up at school and when I came back I found her in the living room. My dad was a the store when it happened." He left out the part where he called me. he went silent again after this.
"Thank you for your input." All Might states calmly. He's really seen it all by now huh.

When school is over I slowly collect my stuff, Kacchan sat down on my table and just watched me when a purple haired midget came up to him and asked about his mom. Immediately I glance at him.
"Hey, Mineta right? The one who sexually assaults women every change he gets?" Mineta turned pale but nodded. "Don't talk to Kacchan, especially not about things like that." Shadow also went to stand in front of Kacchan protectively. With that Mineta backs off for his own good.
"You didn't have to do that y'know." Kacchan mutters softly.
"Don't worry about it." I chuckle and kiss his forehead, standing up and taking my bag. "Wanna hang out today?" He asks carefully watching me. I go to nod but remember the fact that Ace is picking me up. I sigh and shake my head.
"I'm sorry, I'm getting picked up for work today." I look out the window and can obviously see my new blue haired parental figure, if you could even call him that. He's pretty much still a child of his own. I get back a short 'oh' and apologize again.
"When can you hang out?" I genuinely don't know how much Ace will let me do. I should ask him. Either way, today we go straight back to the base.
"I don't know sorry." Is all I say before making my way out the classroom. Before I can actually leave I feel Kacchan pulling me back slightly. Planting a short kiss on my lips and letting go. "That's a better apology." He mutters somewhat shyly. I crack a smile and leave.

"Took you long enou- oh, you brought your boyfriend huh?" I feel myself redden slightly at the remark. "Shut up, and he's not my boyfriend."
"Your brother says otherwise~" Ace taunts smiling. With 'your brother' he means Shiggy, which is more annoying then the fact he's calling Kacchan my boyfriend. I turn to Kacchan, ignoring the teasing coming from Ace.
"I'll cya tomorrow. I would drop you off at your place but I don't think this asshole will let me." I explain annoyed, glaring at the blue haired guy behind me.
"Yeah. Understandable honestly." With that he walks away, waving me 'bye'.

"Are you sure that's not your boyfriend?" I nod, cracking a smile as we walk away. "not officially." I state. Ace chuckles and puts one arm over my shoulder.
"Why do you hide your eyes like that?" I ask curiously, yesterday I had noticed he was also wearing bandages covering his eyes. "Comfort and so people don't recognize me that fast. And I'm partially blind because of some of the Nomu experiments." His voice drifts off slightly.
"How can you see where your going?"
"I said partially smartass. The bandages cover my blind eye." That explains something at least. "How did it happen?" I hate my curiosity sometimes but I like gory details. Newsflash, not that much gore :/

"I was testing out a new quirk to see if it would affect my body. When the boss gave it to me my sight became all blurry and I walked into something, impaling my left eye. Also I don't even have that quirk anymore." That's just sad.
"The boss took it away after the test, aware of what it did." Wait- "How many quirks do you have?" Ace hesitates for a moment, either that or he's counting in his head.
"Like five I think. Including my original quirk." wow. I wonder what kind of quirks they are.. "Anyways, we're here." Ace mutters, obviously eager to change the subject. I nod and ask Shadow for my mask before opening the door.
"Hey bitches." I call out. All Shiggy does is chuck a pillow at my head. "Rude." I mutter, my smile fading.

{A/N: hey guys, I just made this chapter to tell some more about Ace, he's my own OC I made to add onto this story, his parents left him with AFO because they couldn't pay off their debt. After living with the Doctor until age 17, getting experimented on at least once a week they noticed non of the physical experiments affected him, so he didn't become the monster most Nomus are. He's human but he's also not, with the amount of chemicals in his body the Doctor sees him as a Nomu. He's now 22 and going to music school in his personal life. From the 5 permanent quirks he has most people only know 4 because he hardly uses one of them. He was found by heroes at age 18 because they raided the last lab, he lived with an underground hero for a while before attending college. He was purposefully left in the lab so heroes would find him. Making him the ideal spy and informant.
