"Kei! I'm home!" I notice one of the bird's feathers come out from under the door to the living room, beckoning me inside.
When I open the door I notice Keigo sitting in the middle of the couch a movie ready to watch.
"What's all this about?" I easily catch the feather before it can fly back to its master. Kei turns around and smiles welcoming.
"Well.. The date got kinda ruined by that asshole villain, so I figured I'd do something here.. If you just wanna go to bed that's fine to-" I cut him off my softly kissing him. When I pull away he just stares at me red-faced and looking somewhat dumbfounded.
"You're amazing Kei." I admit, sitting down next to him. "I know." He mutters, still somewhat red-faced. He wraps one of his wings around me and starts the movie. It's the first Anabelle movie, I've seen it a thousand times but it'll always stay golden to me.

"How's your arm doing?" Keigo asks about mid-way through the movie, I shrug and glance at my injured arm.
"Fine." I mutter softly, leaning more against him.
"What did you pick up from work?" When I don't answer he asks again, more persistent now. He nudges me softly but stops when I groan in protest. He chuckles and stops bothering me.

I think I fell asleep towards the end of the movie, it had been a long day after all.
But as I'm a very light sleeper, years of living in a lab made sure of that, the moment Keigo tries carefully carry me to the bedroom I wake up. I don't let him know I'm not asleep anymore and let him carry me, carefully put me down and wrap his wings around me as he too climbs into bed.
It's nice to not worry about anything. Especially after what happened earlier today.

{The next morning}

I was awake first, being called awake by the Doctor at 3 in the morning left me half awake, just nuzzling my face into Keigo's chest more, hoping to stay warmer in the air-conditioned room.
Eventually I hear Keigo groan annoyed as he opens his eyes. He sees me obviously awake and smiles.
"Morning Pretty Boy." He mutters lovingly. I mutter something incoherent, even to myself, and sit up more, still half under Keigo's wing.
"Why are you up so early?"
"Work.. They're asking me to come in early for no reason.." I mutter, still half asleep. Kei nods and gets out of bed, leaving me more cold then before.
"You should really close the window next time." I state, rubbing remaining sleep out of my eyes. Keigo just chuckles and does so, closing the glass door leading to the balcony. He oftentimes uses it to get into the house when he forgets his keys.
Finally, once the room warmed up a bit, I get up and make my way to the closet, grabbing a clean dress shirt and tie.
"Formal much." Kei mutters, looking at my face through the mirror on the closet door.
"Shut up. I've got a performance tonight and don't want to change there." I groan, also grabbing a pair of black pants. Keigo just smiles and makes his way to right behind me. He wraps his arms around me and nestles his face into my neck.

"Shouldn't you be getting ready for work too?" Kei groans something incoherent and tightens his grip around me.
"It's my agency, I don't think they'll care much if I'm late." Even if they did they wouldn't say anything to their boss.
"Well lucky you, I'll be late for work like this. We can cuddle when I come home." Kei groans something again, but lets go off me. "Thank you." I finish dressing and go to the kitchen to make breakfast for myself, and coffee for Kei. A few minutes later Keigo enters, still shirtless and his sweatpants loosely hanging from his hips. I catch myself staring for just a second before shoving the cup of coffee in his hands and taking my breakfast to the car.
"Rude."
"Cya tonight birdy." I respond before closing the door behind me.

When I arrive at the bar the child is already preparing tea for Tomura.
"Morning assholes, and child." He looks up shortly before turning away, his expression looked guilty and somewhat sad.
I had finished my breakfast on the way here and ordered a cup of coffee at the bar, hoping that for once the machine wasn't broken.
"Coming right up." The child mutters and starts the machine. Tomura looks up, confused and probably not aware of what went down yesterday.
"What happened between you two? And why does Izu look half terrified of you?" I sit down, not bothering to answer. I hadn't meant to scare him that much, but I was pissed at the fact my date was ruined, and I specifically told him not to cause trouble.

"Nothing important." I groan, taking out my phone to look at the news page.

"Local villain known as the Masked villain and new companion spotted exploding ***** restaurant and attacking pro hero Hawks. Later today we will have an interview with said hero to see if we can get more information on what exactly happened." I recite from the page, my voice unusually lower then usual.

{Deku's POV}

Ace recites the news page I'd seen this morning and I feel a shiver go down my spine. I still remember that feeling of dread from yesterday, Ace had been pissed and at first I couldn't figure out why.
"Ace?" I turn around, setting his cup on the counter. Ace looks up with the same annoyed look he'd entered with.
"What?" He sneers. He's still mad at me for disobeying him and he makes it painfully obvious.
"Why were you with Hawks?" He scoffs and grabs his cup. "I don't think that's any of your business." I nod silently and grab my own phone, looking at the class group chat. It's mostly people excited for the training camp.

(Engine): Make sure you pack everything you need, don't take too much though."

(Gravity bitch): Yeah yea, you've said that a million times now Iida."

(Midoriya): Hey, I just got a new schedule for work and can't come to camp. Hope y'all have fun tho."

I got a few responses, mostly from my 'friends' and Kacchan, who had gone home yesterday right after Ace left.
"I just told everyone I'm not coming to camp." I state, trying to sound nonchalant. Ace nods and lights a cigarette. Tomura looks up, but doesn't say anything as I usually do that. I just stare at my parental figure, not really in the mood to annoy him any more.
"Ace! Not in the bar you fuck." Shiggy states eventually. Ace rolls his eyes, but puts out the cig.

"Kacchan is coming over again." Ace glances up at me raising an eyebrow. "And why would you tell me that? The dog comes over every day. I don't care." Some part of me sighed in relief, he didn't sound as angry as yesterday but there was that small part of me that.. feared? him.. Idk if I should call it fear.
"Alright then.." I turn back around and go to grab myself a soda when Mustard enters the bar.
"Hey Midoriya, can I have a beer please?" I look up for a second to glance at him. Still in his pajamas, as expected.

"Mustard. I know you enjoy drinking your mental problems away but it's 10 AM and I'm not giving you alcohol at this hour." I hear a low grunt from my friend and crack a smile. It's always fun to disappoint people.
"That's a shame.. Just give me a soda then." I nod and grab two cans. "Sorry man. Anyway, we're leaving for the summer camp on Monday, make sure you're ready." Mustard nods, his attention probably on something else.

Ace checks the time around 2 PM and curses loudly, making both me and Kacchan jump slightly.
"What?"
"I'm gonna be late-" I raise an eyebrow, late for what? Ace quickly gets up and grabs his bag. He runs out the bar with no further explanation. I look at Shiggy, who explains about Ace's performances for school.
"Ah I see.. Can we attend them?" Shiggy nods, but warns me that his boyfriend will probably be there. I shrug that off and go into my room to (finally) change out of my pajamas. Kacchan watches me as I come back into the bar, now in wearing a red dress shirt with black tie and black pants.
"Nice." He mutters. I smile thankfully and grab some money from the counter, I probably have to pay to get in.
"You coming or not?" I ask Kacchan, who looks up somewhat confused. "I'm not going alone that's for sure." Kacchan smiled and got up from his seat (the counter). "Fuck yeah." I couldn't help but smile as I checked my phone for Ace's location.
"That's not even that far away. The only problem is that we have no ride." I look around for Ace's care and not to my surprise, it was gone. Kacchan rolls his eyes and drags me along with him.
