part 21

{Ace's POV}

"Look it's Hawks's car!! Who's that in the passanger seat? Do you think he'll notice us?" always the same kind of fangirls, and boys if I look at this group.
Rolling my eyes I pull up my hood and slide even further down in my seat.
"Why does this always happen when you're driving with me?" I groan, even more annoyed then before. Keigo just smiles and laughs at the fans before turning to me with the same forced smile.
"Sorry Torin.." I should've known what I was getting myself into when we started dating, honestly it started for me as a way to get information on heroes but Hawks is a cool guy, and hot for that matter.
"No worries, can we just go home?" I blow some hairs away, making my sight just a little more clear, as clear as it can be with dark hair in front of it.
"Sure thing." It was a short response. He always knows when something is wrong or when I'm tired. We had just agreed to get some chicken on the way but honestly, I just wanted to go to bed. I wasn't hungry, Keigo was.
"Are you sure you're alright?" He asks again, and again I just nod and turn my head to the window, the sight I had  from there wasn't much better to be honest. I'm met with multiple peoply taking pictures of me in the car with Keigo behind me.
"Oh gods.." I turn away again, pulling my legs up onto the seat as I lean my back against the door. I can already see the Instagram posts talking about:  'Hawks spotted with a new lover'

The lighr finally turns green and we start driving again as I feel my mind slowly drift off, Keigo is ranting about work and how he was so shocked that UA managed to get attacked, his voice mixes in with the light rain tapping on the windows and roof of the car.
I blink a few more times before unable to open my eyes again. Guess today really tired me more then I though, or maybe the concern about the Child just got to me.

I wake up at around 4 AM from my phone ringing. Hawks mutters something in his sleeo next to me as I sit up slightly.
I pick up the phone and leave the room silently.
"Yes?"
"Midoriya woke up and was asking for you." I hear the doctor whisper on the other side.
"Hand him the phone please." I respond sleepily, rubbing some sleep out of my eyes.
"Ace.. Where are you?" I can feel my heart break just a little at tje concern in the younger boy's voice.
"I'm at home, sorry I had to leave Child." I reassure him that I'm ok several more times before hearing the door behind me open and Keigo's hands wrapping around my waist.
"I'm really sorry Child but my boyfriend is getting needy, I'll see you at a normal time in the morning 'kay? Jusy stay where you are for now." all I get back is a soft 'ok' before he hangs up on me.

"Who was that and why are they calling you at 3.30 AM?" I crack a smile and manage to turn around while still in the taller man's embrace.
"One of the interns at work, boss ordered me to look after him, and as to why he was calling, I stayed at his place for a while to look after him and he was wondering where I *way too long yawn* where I went." Kei just nods and starts slowly dragging me back into the room.
"Remember the first time we met?" I crack a smile, of course I did, it was at one of my school's perfomances where I would be performing for extra points, Keigo was still a students himself and had one of his first jobs, as security at said performance.
"You weren't wearing those bandages back then.. I think you look nicer without them." I shrug, he might be right but he knows my reasoning for wearing the bandages over my eye and usually doesn't complain about it.
"Take them off.. Just for once, you've been wearing them for years." I roll my eyes, wiping some hairs out of my face.
"I'm not gonna take them off. Now *yawn* can we go back to bed?" Kei hesitated for a moment, kissed me, and nodded.
"And what did I deserve that for?" I question, trying to hide the fact that I'm blushing.
"I don't know. You're pretty?" Let's just not react to the idiot bird for now.

We go back to bed and I sleep until like 10 o'clock. That's when Keigo felt the need to wake me up.
"Fuck off Kei." I groan sleepily. I hear a short chuckle before he tries nudging me awake again.
"You have to wake up pretty boy." I open my working eye and glare up at him.
"Fuck off." We go back and forth like that for a while until my phone starts ringing. I glance down and see the Child's number.
"... Fuck off Kei." I state one more time before picking up the phone.
Sitting up slightly I hear the child's voice, once again filled with concern.
"Are you on your way yet? Shiggy just came by with his ankles shot in, we lost." oh fuck me, how?! That Nomu should be the strongest thing in existance.
"... I'll be right there Child, is he still there?"
"No, he went home after the doctor made clear he would be fine." I nod, despite him unable to see it.
"Alright, I'll be there." I hang up and start getting ready to leave.
"What?! You get up for a child but not for me? That's unfair." whiny asshole. I roll my eyes, taking off my shirt, immediately Keigo is quiet.
Simp
"Correction, I'm getting up for work, I have nothing with children but if my boss tells you to do something, you do it. So I'm stuck with the child until the boss decides he'll be fine alone." Keigo hesitates but doesn't say more. As I dress myself and leave the room.
"Can you drive me there?" I ask, sticking my head around the doorframe. Keigo just nodded, probably still offended about the fact I wouldn't get up for him.
"Same place where you picked me up yesterday should be fine." I inform him with a small smile. Again I get a nod back. That's when it hits me what he's thinking of.
"Kei, the kid I'm looking after is 16, he sees me as a parental figure, nothing more."

{Deku's POV}

I woke up really early in the morning with almost no memory of what happened earlier that day, I did know that I was in the Doctor's office where Ace had left me, he was nowhere to be seen, Shadow was.
I try sitting up but a stinging pain spreads across my stomach. I look down and see bandages getting covered in my blood.
The Docter just then enters the room and sees me awake.
"Where's Ace?" my voice is more raspy then usual and generally sounds like shit.
"I told him to go home until you were awake. I can call him right now if you wan-"
"Please do." I honestly didn't mean to interrupt him but I had gotten used to the fact that he was around.
Shadow was standing in his corner respectivelly. His red eyes focussed on my bandaged up stomach. His aura almost felt like he felt guilty for what happened. Probably because he wasn't there.
