Carefully, slowly, Ace began also making his way to the commotion. A feeling of unease rising in his stomach with every step. Something was seriously wrong here. As he was walking there was a wet sound under his feet. He looked down and was met with a pool of thick, fresh blood. He held one hand to his mouth, almost throwing up as right in front of him were someone's guts. Had Shadow gone this far? Did Deku know? Did he see it as he was running by? To his left was the body of Tenya Iida, now broken and bloody, his innards ripped out with such force it couldn't've been human.

"Oh my fuck-" Ace muttered to himself. He never wanted this, he didn't want to be here anymore. He wanted to take his kid and leave. Go somewhere where Sensei wouldn't find them.

Another scream.
This one closer by then the last one. The smoke around him became thicker as he kept walking, making a big loop around where the scream had came from. That's when he heard Mustard and Toga talking.

"Guys?" Toga yelped slightly and turned to him. She was covered in blood too. "Ace- What the fuck's happening?" Mustard asked, looking him over carefully.
"I think Shadow misunderstood his order. Either that, or people were just in his way." Mustard shook his head slowly, showing an open wound in his stomach.
"Why the fuck would he attack me then?! That makes no sense, he's out of control I'm telling you!" Toga grabbed her phone and called Kurogiri to pick the two of them up.

"I'll see what I can do." Ace muttered as he walked away, getting closer and closer to the center of the woods, where Aizawa and the others probably were.
Right as he was almost at a clearing in the trees, he heard ruffling in the trees above him.
"Child, call Shadow back, he's out of control." The ruffling stopped and Deku looked down, his parent looking right back at him.

"What do you mean 'out of control'?" Ace sighed and looked around for a second, in the clearing Aizawa, most students and other heroes were trying to hold the villains away from Bakugou.
"He attacked Mustard. And he wasn't ordered to brutally murder students as far as I know. He ripped out someone insides." Deku just stared down. Immediately he yelled out for Shadow to return to him, his voice already hoarse from yelling at everyone the whole day and night.

Unfortunately this called the attention of multiple heroes. Ace nor Deku noticed Snipe pointing his gun at the boy in the tree.
And neither of them could do anything as Snipe fired. Hitting Deku's leg first, causing him to fall out of the tree he'd been standing on.
"Child!" Ace wasn't fast enough to catch him, the greenette hit the ground with multiple loud cracks and a harsh groan from the boy himself. Ace rushed to his child faster then Snipe could fire a second bullet, this one would've been pointed at the boy's heart. Ace wrapped his arms around Deku's broken body, even if he had the energy to move he wouldn't've been able to. Multiple bones were sticking out of places where they definitely shouldn't come out of.
"No no no no no." Tears welled up in Ace's eyes. He couldn't loose this person too. He'd lost one of his people already, he wouldn't loose this one too.
"Kid stay awake." Without a second thought Snipe fired his second pullet. This one hitting bullseye. Ace screamed. He wasn't even scared to admit it, he cried for the kid he had grown attached to without wanting to.

"I don't like Children." He had told Deku when they first met. His voice had been full of resentment and annoyance.

"Deku-" Bakugou rushed to his friends, not caring about the fact everyone would know. He ripped off the mask covering his boyfriend's face and shoved it aside.
"Don't close your fucking eyes you coward." He muttered, tears running down his face. Ace gripped his body tighter, not even letting Bakugou touch his son. He heard Aizawa yell something at Snipe in the distance, but it didn't matter anymore.

"Hey- No don't close your eyes Child. You promised you'd rebuild the world- You.. You didn't do that yet. You can't die yet for fucks sake!" There was a hand on his shoulder. Aizawa was standing behind him. He didn't care. He wanted his fucking son to be alive.
Dark tentacles pulled out of his back, at least five impaled Snipe, others went to the students and heroes surrounding them, the only people left untouched were the villains, Bakugou and Aizawa.
"Dad.." Deku's voice, now even more hoarse and broken then it had ever been before. "What? I- I'll give you anything just stay awake!"
"Nothing. just stop talking.." Those were the last words to ever come out of Izuku Midoriya's mouth. Ace cried out as Deku finally closed his eyes. The broken body of Ace's child stopped resisting, going numb in his grasp.
"No.." Bakugou was silent, his face was pale and tears streaming down his face as he dropped his head down.

"Torin.." That's right. Aizawa was still there. One hand still on his son's shoulder, pitiful. He was just as pale as Bakugou, never having seen this much death in one night, and his own child was the cause of it. He didn't care.
"Torin you have to let him go." He didn't get a reaction. Just a silent sob as Ace clutched the broken body of Izuku more tightly against himself.

And so it was for multiple minutes, just silent sobbing in a dead forest.
Shadow had vanished as far as they knew. The rest of the villains were respectively quiet, watching over the three people, making sure nothing would bother them for as long as they needed. After a while Ace finally let Deku's body fall onto the ground, it made no sound yet he flinched, as if not wanting to harm it any further. He stood up, facing his own dad. Aizawa didn't arrest him, didn't even show any sign of anger. He just embraced his son. letting him cry out onto his shoulder.
"I'm sorry I lied to you." Ace spoke in-between sobs. Aizawa shook his head, reassuring him everything was fine, he didn't blame him.

And after another while Bakugou stood up. Took Aces hand and tried leading him towards the other villains.
"We have to leave Ace." Bakugou muttered, eyes still red and puffy from crying. But Ace didn't budge. Making everyone look up at him.

"I'm not coming with you." He simply stated before using one of his tentacles to carefully pick up his child's body.
"Tell Tomura what happened and tell him that I don't plan on returning." Bakugou stared at him for a second, then nodded and followed the rest of the villains into the warp gate.

"Let's go." Aizawa stated, putting one arm under Ace's to steady him, and make sure he didn't run off without warning. Not that he had the energy for it. Using that many quirks in one night wore him out. He was tired and just wanted to go home.
Upon exiting the forest they were met with more pro-heroes and a lot of press wanting to know what happened. Civilians were already being held back by barriers. The two men were immediately approached by heroes, including Present Mic, who embraced his husband before making sure he was alright at least 3 times before turning to Torin.
"Hizashi, this is the man I told you about." Mic seemed to understand immediately what man Aizawa was talking about.

Medics rushed to them next, inspecting Aizawa's wounds and asking Torin if he needed any help, mostly eying the dead body he was carrying.
"Torin. They'll keep him safe." Aizawa assured him, trying to get him to let go off Deku's body. Torin eyed the medics carefully, before lowering the body onto the stretcher. But the moment they tried taking it away he followed, not caring about the protests around him.
"Let me stay with him." He stated, his own voice hoarse from crying as much as he did. One of the medics pushed him down slightly to try and get him to sit down on the edge of the ambulance floor, but he didn't budge.
"I'm sorry but you need to calm dow-"
"That's my fucking son you're taking away, let me stay with him." The medic sighed, but nodded slowly.
"Torin!" He turned to Aizawa. "What?" Aizawa flinched as they bandaged up his stomach. "I'll see you at the hospital." Torin nodded, and got into the ambulance.

On the way to the hospital they asked him questions to identify him and keep him awake.
"What's your name?"
"Torin Okomuri."

"How old are you?"
"22" The medic nodded slowly.

"What's your quirk?"
"Slender." He recalled the name of his most recent quirk, and seeing it was the most obvious one right now, that's the one he wanted registered.

"What school do you go to?"
"Artis. School of Arts." The answers came out butchered, he knew the answers of course, but talking seemed more difficult then usually.

"Very well. Now can you stay awake for us Torin?" He nodded. Not once taking his eyes off of his son's body.
