{TW: Mention of suicide and self-harm}
Eventually he dozed off on the way to the hospital. Torin was tired.
He woke up in a hospital bed. A black haired man sitting on the chair next to him. He immediately recognized the man as Aizawa.
"Dad?" Torin sat up slowly, rubbing sleep out of his eyes. Aizawa looked at him with a concerned smile. Just then Torin looked around the room and frowned.
"Midoriya is fine. They called his mother after you fell asleep." Torin couldn't explain what he was feeling, it was the same thing as when he saw Shinsou and Aizawa together. Jealousy maybe. He scoffed and got out of bed, he was still in the same (now blood stained) clothes as earlier.
"Where?" Aizawa stood up, once again steadying his son with one hand."I'll show you." He stated shortly, leading him out the room after collecting all his belongings. After going off a few stairs they arrived at the room where Midoriya was being held, a short woman was crouched beside the bed, sobs sounding loudly in the room.
"Ms. Midoriya." Aizawa spoke, Inko choked down a sob and stood up, turning to them with tears still staining her face. Torin ignored the woman as he himself sat on the edge of the bed. Most bones that had been piercing through his skin had been restored to their old place, or at least as well as possible.
"Dumbass." He muttered slowly, not to anyone in particular. He let his head drop down, blinking away more tears. He knew he shouldn't've gotten attached."Torin, this is Inko Midoriya." Torin looked up at the woman. She looked absolutely devastated. "Torin Okomuri." He muttered, the woman smiled slightly, wiping her face with a small handkerchief.
"Thank you for taking care of him.." Torin just scoffed and wiped a small stroke of green hair out of Midoriya's eye. It looked so much like he was just sleeping, but he was there when Midoriya had died, he knew he was dead. Yet some part of his mind was in denial, trying to convince him it had all been a dream.
Inko stared at him for a second.
"I.. was quite disappointed in him when I heard what he had been up to, a murderer.. My sweet boy-" Torin finally looked up at her, standing up straight before she could even say more."You don't get to be disappointed in him. You abandoned him when he needed you. You were part of his problem. I cared more for this child then you ever did. If I were him, I would've killed you first." That's when Aizawa stepped in, pushing Torin back slightly.
"That's enough." He muttered. "I know you're angry, and I swear if I had the choice I wouldn't've let them call her. Just sit it out for now. You can kill her later, with all of my permission." Torin grunted but sat back down, back to staring at the lifeless body of his self-declared son."I think it's time for you to leave. Mr. Okomuri." Torin just looked up at the woman, one eyebrow raised, which of course, she didn't see as there was still a curtain of hair covering his eyes.
"Midoriya. Let's just keep things peaceful for now. I don't think he would want you two to fight by his deathbed. Hm?" Torin rolled his eyes, but Inko wasn't done yet.
"No. You think you knew my son better then I did? Tell me one thing about him that I wouldn't know." Torin couldn't help but let out a chuckle."He was planning to kill himself if he hadn't been helped by the league of Villains. Katsuki Bakugou was the one to cause this. at twelve years old he was being told to kill himself daily and he cut himself every night when you were asleep. Do I need to go on?" Inko was silent. She just stood up and walked out of the room. before she closed the door she threw a stack of papers onto the table in the corner.
"You're right. I never cared enough for him. He's your problem now." Torin scoffed again before going to see what the papers were about."Just legal bullshit. She refused to fill it in for some reason." Aizawa stated, picking up one of the papers.
"Need help filling it in?" Torin nods, just staring at the papers.
Filling everything in went easier then expected, also faster, about an hour later they left the hospital. Torin filled in for Midoriya to be cremated, so that he could always carry his kid with him.The two men were called to a crematorium 3 days later. Inko wasn't there, neither was Bakugou to Torin's surprise. It wasn't a big ceremony, the body had already been cremated when they arrived and Torin was just given a wooden box with the ashes and told to be on his way.
"Rude." He muttered on the way back to Aizawa's car, where Shinsou was waiting on the backseat.Torin learned to like the young lavender haired boy, he was family after all, they hung out alone a few times, but usually that wasn't more then Torin driving him to a café and getting invited in. He didn't mind it.
Hawks hadn't tried contacting him even after everything that had happened. And maybe that was for the better too, Torin didn't want to be known as 'Hawks's boyfriend' or 'nr.2 heroes lover'. He wanted to be known for who he was.He graduated from art school with straight A's and started working for a modeling agency too, just to earn extra cash. He still always wore a small necklace with Midoriya's ashes in them, and for over a year he had never ending nightmares about what happened that night. He partially blamed himself for not paying enough attention, but also blamed the heroes that he had murdered, Snipe mostly. He never really quit going to bars where he knew other villains would be, he liked watching the fights occurring in said bars. Though he never got involved, he just watched.
{1 year later}
As he was every Friday evening, Torin was spending his evening in a karaoke bar specifically meant as a safer space for villains just wanting to get away from violence outside. He liked this particular bar for some reason.
But as always, his peace didn't last as he hoped. He was just watching a short blond girl butchering out a song definitely not meant for her voice range when a tall bulky man approached him.
