OCC 3 : One Shot

To be honest, I agreed because of Zary. Remember the time when I told you that I wanted to be with her? Well, This could be a great opportunity. I know Zary won't bring Kenneth along. Duh, It's her vacay. My vacay.

After that Coffee Date with my best friend, Cadence, I started to make a plan to get Zary's heart on a span of seven days. I know it would be hard because she has Kenneth and Zach is on guard. Me and Zach aren't that much of friends. I remember bullying him because of his skin color.

School's up again and just like the other days of school, It's hell boring. I have to make a move now or else Zary would be awkward towards me during the vacation.

"Hey Yo Wassup Bro!" Lance pumped his fist on my back making me stumble on my locker. I glared at him then avoided his stare. "What's wrong dude? Can't talk?"

"Man, I haven't seen Zary yet. Classes are almost starting and she ain't opening her locker. Where could she be?" Yes, Zary's locker is near mine. If my locker is at the end, Hers is at the middle. I know what time she opens her locker and when she closes it.

"God, Topher. You're crazy over that chick! Get over her, will you?" Lance pulled my shoulder making me face him. "Listen to me dude. Zary Cohen is taken by Kenneth Martell. Which means, She's not available. Accept the fact that you can't have her."

"I don't see any PDA going on between them."

His mouth dropped, "Topher, Zary is a shy type chick. She doesn't show her affection to the public. Kenneth on the other hand is a playboy. Of course he cheats on Zary sometimes but he protects her making it sweet."

I pushed him away from me, "Now you're just making it sound like I'm the bad guy." I faced my locker again and shoved all my books inside my bag. "I got to go now Lance. See ya later"

I walked away from him and started heading to my first class. History. God damn.

I'm lucky that I'm with Zach Cohen in this class. I would know if Zary is absent or not. Good thing Cadence is in the same class with me. She could help me ask Zach if Zary is around.

I'm such a stalker.

I spotted Cadence with her so called new friends. I waved at her catching her attention. She frowned at me then turned to her friends. She excused herself and walked to me.

"What?" She asked while curling her arms under her chest.

"I need you to ask Zach if Zary is around." I spat out. She looked surprised at me but then she did what I asked her to do right away.

She came back with a flashing grin on her face. I'm starting to think that she's going to give me bad news. "She's not around. Kenneth and Zary went out of town together." She paused. "Together" she repeated.

My face dropped. Why did Kenneth brought Zary with him? Why all of a sudden?

Err, This was supposed to be the day where I'm going to do my move. I want to make her feel comfortable with me. I guess Kenneth made his move. He's a douche-romancer.

"Hey," Cades pulled me out of my reverie by poking my chest. "Why are you sad?"

"What the heck, Are you touching my abs?" I accused.

"Abs? Maybe man boobs!" She objected. I was hurt a little bit. My man reputation was slightly offended.

"I'm outta here" I waved my hand at her and sat on my chair. The classes started and I am not in the mood to listen to any of Mr. Greene's lectures.

After History class, I was about to leave the room and join Cades but was stopped when Mr. Balls... I mean Mr. Greene... Called me out.

"What is it, Your majesty?" I said, Sounding bored. I dropped my bag on his desk making him angry.

"I'm filing you into detention, Mr. Paxton, for calling me Balls yesterday." He ripped off a paper from his notebook and handed me the excuse letter for detention.

"I did not do that. Besides, that's not in the student's handbook!" I exclaimed. "I have the right to remain silent Mr. Ba-- I mean Mr. Greene."

"Stop kidding around Paxton. Just go and have your one hour detention in my office!"

Well, I have nothing to do with that. I don't want to break any rules anymore so I just have to go with it. I took my bag and recklessly headed out of the room. Without thinking, I rushed going to his office.

What could I possibly do in here?

I took my phone out and sat on Mr. Greene's chair. I placed both of my foot on his desk and acted like a boss.

I kept scrolling down my feed when suddenly someone barged in the office. There I saw Zary.

She was surprised to see me.

I sat properly and leaned forward the desk. "What brings you here, Ms. Cohen?" I imitated Mr. Greene's voice.

She looked around and searched for Mr. Greene, then her eyes planted on mine. She smirked then rushed towards the table. She sat on the chair across mine.

"Where's Mr. Greene?" She asked gracefully.

"You're in luck! I'm the new Mr. Greene in town. So what brings you here lovely lady?" I acted like I'm interviewing her even though I know, we know, that I'm joking around.

She laughed, "Seriously though, Where's Uncle?"

I forgot to tell you, Zary is Mr. Greene's niece.  Mr. Greene and Zary's mother are siblings that's why Zary can go absent anytime she wants.

"Your Uncle has class today. You have to wait for him in an hour." Wait, We're going to be together in an hour?!

"Ah, Uhm Topher can you just tell him that I'll be leaving with Kenneth only by this day?" She requested.

She's leaving again? "Where are you two going?"

"He promised me that we're going on a date before I go to vacation with you and Cadence." Wow, Kenneth's really a douche-romancer.

"Sucks," I whispered to myself. I hate it when someone is doing better than me.

"What?"

I smiled and straightened my back, "Nothing, Okay I'll tell him right away."

I stood up and rushed to the door. I should act like a gentleman now before she leave with Mr. Douche-Romancer. She smiled at me and leaned closer to me.

Then she kissed me on the cheek.

She waved goodbye, "Thanks Topher." She walked away.

"You're welcome, Milady"
