"What were you thinking, Topher?! Did you know what you did there? Are you insane?!"
"Shut it Cades."
"How? You introduced me as your girlfriend and all I can do is stay there like an ice cube continuously melting!"
I neared Cades, "Do you know why I did that?! I did that because Grandma's dying! Her last wish is for me to be with someone who will make me happy."
"What?"
"I didn't have any choice because Zary is not with me a while ago so I just introduced you as mine."
Cades' expression is blank. She's shocked.
"Cades--"
Before I could continue my sentence, She neared me and wrapped her arms around me. It's now my turn to be shocked.
"Shh, Just... Stay." Cades whispered.
"Cades, I'm sorry for not warning you about the whole girlfriend thing."
Cades pulled away and pierced her eyes into mine. All I can do is let myself be hypnotized with her stares.
"It's okay. I don't care." She dug her face deeper on my broad chest.
After visiting Grandma, The whole group except for Kyle went back to Minesotta. I drove Kyle's car instead and promised to bring it to his house garage. He nods at me and handed me the car keys which is nod because as I've known him he never lets anyone touch his stuff. Even his precious car.
"Bye Guys, I'll be going now." Zary waved. Kenneth is waiting outside and she enveloped him with her hug. Zach didn't hesitate to go.
"Where do you want me to bring you, Cades?" I asked as I look back via rear mirror. She looks sad.
"Anywhere but not home."
"Want to go to my house?"
Cades' mood lit up. At first she was giddy but the giddiness faded when she saw me looking. "Sure, Okay." She said coldly.
"Cades." I whispered.
"What?"
"I don't like her anymore." I don't know why I said that. Maybe it's my way of comforting her. But how is that comforting? As I've known she likes Kyle. Maybe that's the reason why She's sad.
"I don't care." She spat out.
"Why are you sad? Is it because of Kyle?"
"No, I'm just confused. Stop worrying about me Topher." Cades chided.
"Okay fine but can you atleast tell me what's wrong? I'm hell scared here."
"I'm just really confused... No reasons just keep your eyes on the road."
"Fine," before I could look at the road, A truck hit Kyle's car.
