Still Christopher Paxton's POV

"Cades started to be cold on you. She only visits when there's occasions or whatever that involves you being in pain. She loved you."

"Everything changed after she went off for college. She started to be mature. She didn't show off to any of the guys that wanted to touch her and focused on her studies. She loved her career as a young photographer. At an early age, She started to go out of the country just to take vintage photos for exhibits here."

"Also, She finished writing her book Last Year. She's making a spotlight on her own. Everyone liked her book like seriously. I, also liked her book."

"What's the title?" I can't help but ask.

"Our Coffee Confessions."

"What is it about?"

"About you."

My eyes popped open. She wrote a book for me?

"Can you tell me the details?"

"Of course son... Hmm, She wrote the book that started off when you were friends. She loved the way you would tease her but she would mess you up as well. She also stated that you were bad at courting girls but certainly you are not bad to love one. You are a gentleman but sometimes you are blind to see who's in front of you. She also stated the day of her birthday wherein you two kissed. She felt like it was a mistake but when she was kissing you, it didn't feel like that anything at all. She also said that you will do anything for her and she is grateful..."

"Mom stop," I cut her off. I don't want to hear more because memories keep on flashing back. As the memories go back, Zary's face and disappointment is seen in Cades' sad face.

"Do you want me to give you her book?"

I nod. I will read it myself.

---

"Mom, What happened after she left for college?" I asked while reading Cades' book. Everyone are starting to pack up and leave.

"She visited you before she left for her job. She told me that if ever you wake up, Make sure that I will give you the letter she wrote few years back." She handed me an old paper that is folded. I remember this letter, I've seen this before. "She asked me to ask you to read it once you woke up. Then, Leave it somewhere so you could forget her permanently."

"Why? Is she mad at me?"

My mom sighed, "No, She's scared that you'll shut her down. Whatever that is in that letter may seem important that she thinks you will hate her forever."

"I don't hate her," I told mom while opening the letter. "In fact I want her to be here."

My mom didn't talk after that. She just wanted me to be happy. I know that. But it seems like waking up is a bad idea because Cades is not her with me.

"Mom, When is the book party?"

My mom took her phone out, "She sent an invitation to all of us."

She showed me her phone and I saw an e-mail that indicates her invitation.
