Lost in the wind

Weeks had passed and Lily was always reading the book. Clara had borrowed it a few times to read some of the stories that her parents had deemed 'inappropriate for young pureblood wizards' (the ones that they helped muggles). It was Friday night, and very warm for March, so Clara was trying to teach Lily how to play Quidditch. Melody was messing with her hair, distracting Lily.

"Purple. Blue. Pink. Tangerine. RAINBOW!"

Melody changed it one last time.

"Oops."

She said as she ended up with a poka dotted afro.

"I think the one before that was better..."

Rose laughed as Melody changed it again. Clara was watching and asking Melody do other colors when,

"Such a beautiful moon!"

The moon was rising, and it was full.

"What? What?"

Melody asked, her hair halfway between blonde and ginger.

"The moon is rising."

"We should go, shouldn't we?"
Clara asked.
"Yeah, I'll be there in a minute. I just want to try to get this maneuver down."
Rose mounted her broom.
"Suit yourself, I'm going now."
Clara shrugged.
"I'm going to stay with Rose. I want to see if she can actually get this."
Lily said. Melody perked up.
"Get what?"
Clara laughed.
"Okay, see you later!"
She grabbed her broom and headed for the Gryffindor side of the changing area and broom storage. A large gust of wind blew straight into her, knocking her broom back into life. She screamed as it dragged her away. It went high enough that she couldn't let go, and kept tossing in the wind. Finally, over the Forbidden Forest, she lost her grip and fell. The crashed through the trees, and saw the world go black as she hit the ground.
