Clara was listening closely to her muggle studies class about...math? Okay, not that closely.
She missed the exams, and had to take them later that week, and school ended in two weeks. No full moon for a while. She yawned a little and heard the bell. Lunch time. Clara walked down to the Great Hall and met up with Lily.
"So what exactly did I miss while I was in St. Mungo's?"
She asked
"A Hogsmeade trip, Potter blew up half the potions class room, exams were easy, and thats about it. Oh and some mysterious disappearances. Weird, right?"
Lily informed her.
"Yeah, I guess."
The marauders walked into the great hall, and James of course sat next to Lily.
"What do you want?"
Lily.
"Just to ask you something?"
"No."
"What?"
"The answer is no."
"You don't even know the question! What if it was do you not want to go on a date with me? Hmm?"
"Just shut it Potter."
This went on for a while.
"But that's not what I wanted to ask you. We need your help with a problem."
James finally stopped.
"And what might that problem be?"
Lily questioned.
"What is correct definition of pie?"
Lily stared at him for a few seconds, then burst out laughing.
"That's the world ending problem?"
She asked.
"Yes, it is. Now, explain."
"Well, pie, P I E, is a dessert that is kind of like.... I don't know how to explain it, its pie!"
Lily snapped.
"Yes, we know what pie is."
James said.
"Then why are you asking!"
Lily hissed.
"Because Remus believes it's a number."
"Well, pi, P I is a number. 3.14159265838979346243-"
"We don't need that much information!"
"Well then. Pi is the numerical value of the ratio of the circumference of a circle to its diameter."
Lily expertly defined.
"In English please."
"That was english, you idiot."
Lily snapped.
"Well, we really must be going somewhere other than here."
Lily got up.
"Potter, did you really blow up half of the potions class?"
Clara asked.
"Clara!"
Lily called.
"Sorry, good bye James."
Clara sad when Lily was out of earshot.
"But you just called me Potter!"
He acted confused.
"It's a Lily thing just don't question it!"
Ok so I made this chapter to say that I suck at dates. I honestly know more about he history of Hogwarts then what I need to know in American history. Bleh. But if I forget a full moon or Hogsmeade weekend or put two of those in a row, sorry. An if it all equals to more than a year, oops. But I should be finishing the third year in the next chapter or so!
