"You know what I want? A flying motor bike."
"Yeah thats gonna happen."

"What's new pussycat?"
Sirius asked Professor McGonagall.
"Gryffindor has five less points than a minute ago, Mr. Black."

"You both will receive detention for disrupting my class."
Clara nodded and glared at Sirius. Sirius just smirked.
"I'll get us out of this."
He whispered.
"But Professor, you just look so pretty today, the real punishment would be not giving me detention so I didn't have to see you again."
Sirius winked. Clara almost gagged.
"Nice try, Black. Five o'clock, Monday."
"So it's a date?"
"Just get out of my office!"
But McGonagall was laughing.
"Why do I have to be related to you?"
Clara asked as Sirius put his arm around her shoulder.
"Get off me."
"But it annoys you so much!"
Clara sighed.
"You didn't get us out of detention."
Sirius sighed.
"That hasn't worked yet. Did try it with Sprout, she just put on earmuffs and said she was going to do some thins with mandrakes. Also attempted it on Dumbledore, you were there."
Clara groaned.
"Don't remind me."
They were walking back to Gryffindor common room the long way, Clara realized.
"We missed the turn back there."
Se pointed out.
"It's a short cut."
Sirius told her.
"Really?"
Clara asked.
"You don't believe me?"
Sirius said with mock hurt in his voice.
"No, not really. Just don't get us lost."
Sirius smirked.
"And please refrain from the smirking."
Sirius's laugh sounded much like a dog's bark.
"Anyway, Remus seems to be affected by my dashing good looks."
Sirius winked.
"Don't."
Clara said.
"Honestly, when has he ever given me a detention?"
He pointed out.
"You actually think- no turn this way, I'm not going back via owlry- that that's why he doesn't give you detention? It's because if he gave you detention he'd have to give it to himself."
Clara said as they rounded a corner.
"Fair point. But maybe it's not me that he's drawn to... Maybe it's a different Black."
Clara rolled her eyes.
"It's obviously Bellatrix."
Clara laughed.
Sirius had the naughty look on his face again.
"I don't like that look it usually means trouble."
Clara said and walked a little faster.
"No, it's not Bellatrix- it's you."
Clara promptly crashed into a suit of armour. Sirius was laughing his head off.
"I'm fine, thanks for asking."
Clara brushed off some dust.

"You should practice flirting. Here, practice on Cassiopeia."
Clarissa glared at him.
"It's Clarissa. I'm your sister, you should know that by now."
"Sure, Cass. Remus, you may begin."
"Um... You're more beautiful than a nereid?"
Clarissa looked up from her book.
"You know, that's actually what got the original Cassiopeia in trouble. She thought she was prettier than an immortal. That's a problematic pick up line."
"I told you I'm no good."

"Hey!"
Sirius placed his head on Clara's.
"Get off me..."
She whined.
"No, I think not."
Clara sighed.
"You're girlfriends going to be jealous."
"We're twins."
"

Melody screwed up her face and her hair started to change pink.
"You look constipated Rivers."
Unfortunately at that time Sirius and James decided to come over to the area by the lake.
"Shut it Black."
Melody smiled once her hair had turned all pink and was extremely long.
"Can I change my name to Mary Sue? And get shipped with literally everyone in Hogwarts? And be a super powerful weremetamagi? Cause that would be awesome."
Everyone laughed.
"Okay, let's pair you with Padfoot first."
James said.
"Wait, what?"
James started to push Sirius towards Melody.
"Yes, good idea."
Marla gave Melody a push.
"Um...I don't think that's such a good idea...."
Melody started to say.
"Oh please, everyone knows you fancy him."
Rose laughed.
"I, for one, did not know that."
Sirius spoke up.
"No I don't!"
Melody said menacingly.
"That's perfect because Padfoot fancies you!"
James added.
"I swear I'm going to curse you ar-"
"FIRST YEARS!"
Lily yelled.
"Er, glasses off, Potter."

Clara stared at the bogart in shock. It was just the tapestry at home. Except there was no clear name for anyone. All a jumbled mess of silver and green. But right in front if her she saw the scorched mark. With her name under it. Why did this bother her so much? It was only inevitable in the future. She held up her wand. How to change it? She whimpered and dropped her hand, pushing through the crowd and out the door. She couldn't do it. Why? She found herself in a deserted corridor. She stooped for a minute, slowly walked to the wall, and sank to her knees. What had happened back there? She was a Gryffindor. She was supposed to be brave. But she couldn't even defeat a bogart. She heard footsteps.
"Clarissa?"
She tried to soften her sobs but no such luck came for her.
"Clara?"
She looked up and saw Sirius.
"I-I just-"
Sirius nodded.
"I know."
He sat down next to her.
"It seems inevitable. At times, I want it to happen. But... the thought of it really happening, the thought of being completely cast out.... It's too much."
Clara nodded.
"I'm supposed to be brave. I'm Gryffindor. I-I was sorted into the wrong house."
She mumbled. Sirius shook his head.
"No, Clara. You are brave. But not fearless. Bravery isn't fearlessness. Fearless is foolish. Everyone has some fear. Remus saw an unrecognizable body, and everyone thought it was a corpse, but we knew it was someone killed in his wolf form. For me... I saw myself. But a future version. Except.... dark magic user, death eater, stuck in Azkaban. It scared me."
