"Today in DADA, we will be learning about Cornish Pixies." Professor McFurrier announced. It had been about a week since the night that she met Lupin in the common room, and she hadn't seen him since. She payed attention to the lesson, and when it was time to go, she made her way to lunch with Rose, Marla, and Melody."Haven't seen Lupin for a while. AND he wasn't in the hospital wing."
Rose said as she turned the corner.
"I had to go there because someone hit Melody with a silencing spell."
Melody laughed.
"Yeah, silencing didn't do much. At home I'm not this quiet. . .""You're just homesick."
Marla said.
Melody smiled.
"Yeah, I guess most first years are at some point.""Homesick? Rivers, I'm lucky to be Here. Only first year to be sick OF home and not for it. "
Sirius had rounded the corner and joined there conversation.
"Black."
Melody acknowledged his presence.
"Quiet, are we?"
Sirius asked.
"Are you kidding? I'll be loud once I find my way around this place."
"Kind of like Remus."
Potter was right beside Sirius.
"Who's in the hospital wing with the,"James Potter finished Sirius's sentence.
"Flu. Or some cold. It was bad, he was so pale. Anyway, we've still got Snivellius to pick on with out his help!"
James flicked his wand in a Slytherin boys direction and a pot came crashing down on his head.
"His name is Severus, or Snape to you, since you are definitely not even worthy of calling him by his first name, and if you hurt him again, I'm telling a teacher!"
Lily Evans snapped at James.
"Ooooooo, Snevillus has got a girlfriend!"
James taunted.
"Shut it!"
Lily told him. When he proceeded to taunt Lily and maim Snape,
"SHUT UP!"
Lily yelled at him.
"James, you only hurt Snape because Lily pays attention to him and not you."
Rose attacked.
"Who's laughing now, Potter?"
Lily hissed at him.
"This is the real world, James dear, you can't be an arrogant spoiled brat outside of the family, can you? We're cousins."
Marla added.
"Well, cousin this is the real world, and sometimes people get hurt for reasons beyond your little minds can handle."
James taunted.
"Oh Merlin. Look at then fight. Imagine if our cousins were as silly as this."
Clara told Sirius.
"I think since we have wands drawn at the mention of a muggle, this is pretty silly."
Sirius said.
"Seems wands have been drawn at this fight."
Marla and James were face to face with their wands out.
"Pity. They don't even know any good spells. And Evans and Snape have already left, so there's no need to continue. Greasy git."
Sirius smirked.
"Smirking is extremely annoying why do you do that?"
Clara asked him.
"To annoy people like you who believe smirking is not a proper response to a situation such as this."
Clara rolled her eyes."Stop this at once! Detention miss Potter!"
Professor McGonagall suddenly came in.
"Which one?"
Rose asked, fear in her eyes.
"Which do you think, miss Potter?"
Marla lowered her wand.
"Family spat, Professor."
She frowned.
"Some people don't respect those of other houses."
She glared at Potter.
"I saw the whole thing. You may all return to your lunch!"Professor McGonagall told everyone. Marla and James, started to slip out but were caught.
"Not you two."
Professor McGonagall stated. Marla looked back at Rose, and mouthed,
"Help me!"
But Rose just frowned sadly looked away.
"I can't help you. I keep telling you not to fight with him, we do this all the time, especially when we have to visit him."
Clara and Rose walked down the corridor with Melody. They turned into the Great Hall and Evans waved at them."Thank you for helping me. Snape was my friend before we came here. But he seems to be growing farther away everyday..."
Evans started daydreaming. Clara smiled.
"Well, Evans, you have other friends to help you and your old friend."
Evans smiled.
"Thanks Black, Potter, Rivers. Never thought I'd be saying that. I always associated those names with them. Excluding Rivers."
Clara smiled.
"Well, friends go by first names. I'm Clarissa. I like Clara better though."
"Rose."
"Melody!"
"Lily."
Lily smiled.
"Great. So I guess all the Gryffindor first years are friends!"
Melody smiled.
"I thought I wouldn't fit in here."
She said.
"Don't worry. We'll be great friends."
