This was originally going to have the Order beginning but I decided against it

The reason he ran away
Defiantly PG-13
Clara knew this time was different somehow. She could hear the fighting, the screaming. If only the neighbors could hear. She and Regulus hadn't hidden from the fighting together for years, and Sirius was usually with them as well. As she walked quietly down the hall, the screams sounded less and less of anger and more of pain. She didn't know who was screaming. She pushed open Regulus' door.
"What do you want?"
He asked coldly. Clara's eyes filled with tears.
"To warn you. This isn't a normal fight."
She glanced back and winced as another scream was heard.
Regulus did too.
"It's not mum and dad. It's mum and dad against Sirius. And-"
Clara felt the tears fall out.
"I think they're not using legal forms of punishment."
Regulus' eyes widened.
"You don't mean..."
Clara shook her head.
"Cruciatus? Most likely."
Regulus stared back at her.
"We're not going to have a brother by tomorrow."
She said and closed the door. She almost ran downstairs to try and help, but how could she? She was just sixteen against two fully trained wizards who weren't afraid to use unforgivable curses. She went up to her room and sobbed as the screams died down.

An hour later, everything was quiet. Clara made a final trip to Sirius' room. She pushed open the door, and sure enough, Sirius was staring at the ceiling.
"Sirius?"
He didn't respond.
"Come on. I know you're leaving in the morning. I just want to say goodbye. Why haven't you left now?"
Sirius mumbled something.
"What?"
"I can't move, okay?"
He snapped. Clara gasped.
"Oh my gosh, they didn't. . ."
Her worst fears about the fight were true. She sighed.
"You know, I am training to be a healer."
Sirius was still glaring at the ceiling.
"That won't help this. I feel like crap, sore all over like I ran into a tree and then was hit by car powered by-"
"Nuclear energy. I change into a werewolf once a month, remember? You're lucky you aren't covered in blood and bruises."
Sirius laughed coldly.
"Don't be so sure."
Clara's eyes widened.
"Sirius, you need help."
Sirius shook his head.
"I'll have to tell the healers what happened. I can't do that."
"At least let me see."
Clara walked over. Sirius sat up and lifted the side of his shirt. From what she could see, he had a large bloody gash in his side surrounded by bruises.
"That's not all. Sirius, really. Magic is the only way to fix this. It is an emergency, and quite possibly life threatening. I'm using magic."
At this point Sirius was in too much pain to argue.
"Sirius, you're going to need to take off your shirt. It's covered in blood."
Sirius tried to protest, but Clara glared at him.
"Damn. They didn't just use magic. "
She whispered.
"It's not all for nothing. Dad's jaw's broken."
Sirius chuckled darkly.
"That's what got him to use the cruciatus curse."
Clara's eyes filled with tears.
"Okay, I'm going to try and get some of the blood back in. Lie back down."
She thought for a minute. Episky wasn't going to do it. She had heard Snape use this spell once... It was her only chance.
"Vulnera Sanentur."
She moved her wand over his wound. It disappeared quickly.
"Just like magic."
She breathed.
"Okay, I'm going to check for a broken rib now. It's going to hurt, please don't scream."
Sirius nodded. Clara pressed down on his rib cage and he winced.
"Scale of 1 to ten, how much did that hurt?"
Sirius muttered.
"Ten thousand."
Clara sighed.
"I'm not a fully trained healer, so this might hurt more than help at first, but I need to make sure it doesn't puncture your lung."
Sirius nodded again.
"Episky."
Sirius gasped.
"Clara. What did you do?"
Clara laughed.
"I fixed it. See, even the bruise is going away!"
Sirius sighed.
"It feels so much better now."
"Yeah, by morning you should be able to move. We need to get you out of here."
Sirius nodded.
"Already packed."
Clara smiled.
"Good dog."
Sirius laughed.
"I don't want to leave you alone... What if you start bleeding again? But you didn't hit your head- did you?"
Sirius shook his head.
"Then... Do you want me to stay?"
Sirius nodded.
"Can you do anything but nod?"
Clara asked jokingly. Sirius nodded. Clara laughed.
"Can I put a shirt back on?"
"Depends, do you want it stained with literal blood, sweat, and tears if that gash in your side opens back up?"
Sirius considered for a moment.
"Nah. Besides, I'm sure you're enjoying this. All girls do."
Sirius' lopsided grin danced across his face, lighting up the room.
"Of course. I have to constantly remind myself that I am your sister and am not attracted to you."
Clara said jokingly.
"You're not attracted to me. It's your hot werewolf boyfriend. You ever see him shirtless?"
Clara paused.
"You have."
"Like you haven't. You live in the same room for most of the year."
"He is pretty hot, right?"
Clara laughed.
"Merlin, Sirius. Why do you make everything so hard?"
Sirius smirked.
"Then, if you've seem him shirtless, it's likely he's seen you shirtless, if he's lucky, not wearing a-"
"Oh my gosh stop it!"
Clara laughed and playfully hit him with a pillow.
"I have not shagged Remus Lupin!"
Sirius rolled his eyes.
"I never said that, I just said-"
"You implied it, you arse."

Because of a Squirrel
Clara groaned.
"Owwww."
Remus smiled sympathetically.
"You look like hell."
He said.
"I feel like hell. And you look fine."
She snapped.
"Damn squirrels."
Remus laughed.
"You mean to say that you broke a rib because of a squirrel?"
Clara glared at him.
"Tree. I crashed into a tree."
Remus smirked.
"Because of a squirrel."
Clara sighed.
"Yes, I chased a squirrel and broke a rib. Not to mention the damage I did to my brain."
Remus smiled slyly.
"Need helping walking with that broken rib?"
Clara looked at him incredulously.
"What? No, of course noOOOOOOT!"
Remus picked her up and started carrying her the way back to the hospital wing.
"You know you're loving this."
Remus joked.
"I hate to admit that you are correct."

The reason she left
Not as PG-13
Set after Sirius leaves
The next morning Clara woke up to a scream of rage and a blast. She noticed she had fallen asleep in Sirius' bedroom , and that he was gone.
"So he left a note. Good idea."
She went down to the family tapestry. Sure enough, Sirius had been blasted off of it. She drew out her wand and thought for a moment.
"Enough magic left for one more emergency."
She smiled. As she went down to breakfast, her mother was still raging.
"That filthy blood traitor, I should have blasted him off as soon as he was placed in Gryffindor, he will not ever be welcome here again, oh if he ever returns..."
Clara glared at both her parents.
"I don't have legal proof of what happened last night but if I did you'd both be in Azkaban!"
"Clarissa, it was just a matter of blood -"
"Yeah, there was blood everywhere! What did you do to him!?"
She noticed Regulus standing in the doorway.
"Even if you did have evidence, you couldn't do anything, girl."
Her father started.
"You're just a filthy half-breed. So what if we used the cruciatus curse on him? He's gone now. We won't be seeing that blood traitor around for a while."
Her mother gasped.
"Orion!"
"What?"
"You weren't supposed to actually use an unforgivable curse, what if he tells someone!"
Her mother hissed.
"Oh, he'll be too scared to ever say a word about that."
Clara glared at them.
"You see Regulus. This is what they're really like. What you're going to be like. Stay here if you like, they always liked you better. But just remember, you used to have siblings."
Her mother looked astonished.
"Used too?"
"Oh don't deny it. I haven't been part of this family since I was bitten. I'm no longer part of the most ancient house of Black, and neither is Sirius."
Clara felt in her pocket for the small bag in which all the belongings were.
(Trunk included, undetectable extension charms were amazing)
She looked at her father.
"Hope your jaw feels like hell."
She left the house without saying another word.
She would never see her mother sobbing over the next few days, crying over her children, which were dead to them now, or her father wishing he could have stopped something, or her brother staring at their doors wondering where time had went. But her mother sobbed over the children she never had, her father wished he had been more harsh earlier on, and her brother wanted nothing more than for a normal family. And if that meant a muggle one, the he would gladly accept it.

Aspiring Death Eaters
"Ahhhhhhh! Please nooooooo!"
A voice came from somewhere over in the deserted corridor.
"Please stop!"
It came again. Clara bolted over to it. Some seventh year Slytherins were laughing and cursing a girl a year lower than them. It looked like the cruciatus curse.
"Stop! You idiots!"
Clara pulled out her wand. The two boys looked over at her.
"And why should we? It's just a filthy little mudblood, no worse than yourself, a blood traitor! Crucio!"
Clara's eyes widened. They were using illegal curses. She opened her mouth to scream, but no sound came out. Her blood felt like it was boiling, she felt like she was being ripped apart. Then it stopped.

Lies and Truths and Broken Trust
"Levicorpus!"
Clara screamed as she was raised in the air upside down. She seemed to be hanging off an invisible string connected to her ankle.
"Put me down."
Clara struggled against the spell.
"Sirius!!!"
Sirius smiled.
"Only when you say your sorry."
"Im not five!"
Clara reached for her wand, but it had fallen out of her pocket.
"Sirius I am not sorry. Secrets are meant to be kept, even if it means that you don't get revenge on your biggest enemy! You stay out of my buisness!"
She screeched at him.
"Well-"
"I DONT FLIPPING CARE WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY PUT ME DOWN RIGHT NOW!!!!!!"
She yelled at him. She reached a little farther and just barley grabbed her wand.
"Stupefy!"
The spell hit him and he fell over backwards. She fell headfirst on the grass and raced back to the common room.
