Chris' POV

I woke up and immediately felt a body pressed against mine, before opening my eyes. The familiar scent made me smile. I looked down and in the crook of my arm I saw her sleeping peacefully. Her beautiful face relaxed completely and her hair framing it without any particular order. I glanced around the room in search of a clock. My phone was probably somewhere on the floor or even downstairs. I tilted my head in hope not to wake her up but enough to glance at the bedside table on the side she was sleeping on. I noticed she liked to sleep on the right side of the bed, so I was on her left side. That way she usually swung her right arm over my torso, keeping me close, yet leaving me enough space. And I don't think it's just me, she isn't a particularly clingy person, especially when it came to physical contact, although I did discover she enjoyed that I was the complete opposite.

There was indeed a tiny clock on the bedside table that showed 8:56. Perfect time to wake up and do something nice for Jamie. I felt the need to do something nice. I know it took a lot for her to open up to me last night and I thought the best way to show how much I appreciated it was to do something nice.

Very carefully I slipped my arm and adjusted her head gently on the pillow. My boxers were on the floor so I reached for them and pulled them on. It was hot even though it was only morning so I looked around for a pair of shorts I thought I left here a few weeks ago. I found them and pulled them on before heading downstairs.

It occurred to me how lucky I am that Jamie and I work together. Cause if we didn't, I'm not sure our schedules would allow us to have a relationship. This way, we saw each other almost every day, and we spent most weekends together. Although, when on set there wasn't much time to actually be together but just seeing each other and occasionally making out in my dressing room was more than enough. Some nights through the week we'd go together and spend the night at hers or my place, but we were usually exhausted. All this allowed our relationship to progress quickly, and I couldn't shake off the feeling that I was starting to 'more than like her'. It scared me to be honest, but something was telling me committing to Jamie completely wouldn't be a negative experience.

I looked around the living room for my phone and saw that Scott assured me he'll go and pick Dodger up, cause I texted him last night on my way to Jamie's. My next stop was the bathroom. I didn't want to use the one upstairs and wake her up. Down the corridor from her living room and kitchen were two doors. I opened one closer to me and discovered it wasn't the bathroom. Instead I found myself standing in a small, yet very cozy, room that had an impressive number of books organized on floor to ceiling wooden bookshelves that covered three out of four walls. There were a few windows but had curtains on them, and the window in the middle had a built in love seat. The curtains weren't very thick, so light still fought its way through the fabric. In one corner was a very comfortable looking armchair and a vintage lamp next to it. The wooden floor had a carpet covering its middle. The room was small but very comforting. I can't believe I've never seen it before. It's true we spend more time at my place cause of Dodger, but this room amazed me.

Soon my mission to find the bathroom was forgotten. I started browsing through the shelves. Every and any book could be found here, from some classics to some I've never heard of. Besides the books on shelves stood numerous pictures in colorful frames. I noticed she had very few pictures around the house, but it turns out she has tons, she only keeps them here. I carefully looked at them. Most were with a tall, sharp looking girl with short black hair, and another slightly shorter and wild blond hair- she's the one I briefly remember from that night at the club. I figured they must be Sheila and Layla. There was one picture where they stood against a brick wall posing, clearly on the sea side somewhere, and they looked younger than on other photos. They were all smiling widely and I noticed they tried posing as Charlie's Angels. This caused me to smile, they certainly had the looks for it. I picked the picture up and examined Jamie, the quality of the photo wasn't much, but I estimated this photo was taken in the early 2000s so it made sense. Jamie was standing in the middle, wearing an olive green skirt and a white tank top, it hugged her curves perfectly and the wedges she had on her feet accented her beautiful legs, her tan was even darker making her look even more attractive. Her green eyes sparkled even through the shitty camera lens, her hair was the same length although it was wilder and her lips stretched into a huge smile. I guessed whoever took the picture probably did it while they were in a fit of laughter. The other two girls were also very pretty, but Jamie was gorgeous.
