"Great." --Part two--

3rd person Pov:

"He's injured?! Then, what do we do without his magic omelet?"

"Amulet." Younger Claire corrected.

"The other Claire, Blinky, and Aaarrrggghhh are taking care of him, so we get to go on a mission to find the green knight!" Toby said, "I've wanted to say that for so long."

'Where would we even go?"

"I have an idea." Krel said, walking out. "I've taken samples of the geodes you gave me and the information I got from it is amazing!"

"They're corruption shards. You were saying something about knowing where to go?"

"I have found that they emit strange signals when they are in use. A major signal is coming from this specific area."

He pulled out a map and pointed to the giant red cluster.

"They are being constantly used here. We should go there first."

"Not bad, little brother. Not bad." She squinted at the map and became confused immediately. "Area 49-b? What is that?"

"What! Let me see that."

Krel handed over the device to the two humans as they stared at it in shock.

"Great. Just great."

"What is it?" Douxie and Zoe asked, walking in.

"We have to go to Area 49-b. That's probably where the green knight is."

"What's that?" Zoe asked.

"A secret base for investigating aliens, and interplanetary things. It's a story."

"I hate that word." Aja spit out. "Alien."

"Well, we don't have time for this. This world is getting destroyed quicker than the last!" Douxie yelled. "Wait, how'd I know that?"

"It must be the timelines colliding. We have to get Jim and Claire out of here right now." Zoe said.

With Jim and Claire:

Jim laid on the hospital bed, staring at the ceiling with Claire beside him.

"Jim?" Barbara called out. She walked into the room with her clipboard and looked at her son with worry in her eyes. "How are you feeling?"

"Everything hurts." Jim groaned.

"Of course it does. You have bruised ribs and 3rd-degree burns."

"It's that bad?"

She nodded to Jim's dismay. She sat down in a chair next to him.

"You should have come earlier. You were at a risk for infection and that would have been a lot harder for you to deal with."

He didn't respond and just stared at the beeping machine in the room. Barbara and Claire looked at each other, both worried about Jim as he slowly drifted off into sleep.

"Well, he just has to stay here for a while, but he'll live. Thankfully..."

"I just wonder why he didn't tell anyone. I'm sure it's not just because he didn't want us to be worried."

"Whatever the reason," Barbara started. "He's ok now. That's all that matters."

"You're right." Claire said as his mother left the room.

Her phone rang and she pulled it out of her bag. It was Toby.

"Hello?" She asked the other side.

No response.

"Why'd you call me?"

Suddenly, she heard a crashing sound and finally heard a voice on the other line.

"Claire! Thank god you picked up. I think we found the green knight."

"Where?!" She yelled, jumping up.

"He's with Morando and Morgana in area 49-b- You need to get here now!-"

Then silence.

She quickly got out of her chair and ran out the glass doors, so she could portal out. Jim was woken up by the loud noises and examined his surroundings. He caught a shadow where an object wasn't in place.

"Weird..." He muttered.

"Hello, James Lake Jr." A distorted voice said.
