Aliya met Jungkook and Jimin as she made her way back to the reception hall. "Hey Aliya, how did it go?" Jungkook asked making Jimin laugh, she knew right away what he is asking about. They loved teasing her when it comes to her mom's friends matching her with one of their sons.

"Thanks but no thanks for the help Jimin." Aliya reached out to punch her friend's arm but he managed to dodge.

"I was doing you a favor Aliya, who knows maybe you'd get to meet your soul mate this time." Jimin said as he continued laughing.

"Oh please." Aliya replied, my soul mate just married someone else, she thought as she continued to try reaching for Jimin. Unfortunately, her heels got caught at the edge of her gown and she started sliding face first towards the floor. It happened so fast that the next thing she knew was that she landed into someone's arms, the ground just a few inches from her eyes. She looked up and then gasped when she saw who caught her. Her body was resting on Yoongi's arms and she struggles to get back to her feet.

Jungkook and Jimin came to her side pulling her up. "Are you ok?" They asked.

Aliya could only nod her head. She met Yoongi's eyes briefly. "Thank you." She said her hands reaching up to fix her hair, her face still hot from embarrassment.

Yoongi nodded in reply looking at her face before going down her body. He didn't say a word although the corners of his mouth turned up a bit.

The two men thanked Yoongi as he started to leave. Aliya followed him with her eyes as he walked away. That was embarrassing, and why him of all people, she thought as her heartbeat accelerates over what happened.

She exhales before turning back to her friends. She then finds the person that had been in  her thoughts the whole day. He is standing before her with his hands in his  pocket and a wide smile on his face. She wanted to run away, but she was frozen at her spot. Jimin and Jungkook comes up to him and gives him a hug, clapping him at his back as they congratulated him.

"Iya," This is how he calls her since they were kids.

"You haven't given me a hug yet." He says when she remains silent.

Aliya refused to meet his eyes, fixing her gaze on the bowtie he is wearing instead. She couldn't speak either as she got overwhelmed by her emotions.

"Is there a problem?" He asked when she remains at her spot, her eyes not meeting his. He reached out and took Aliya's chin so she'd meet his eyes where the tears starts to pool.  She blinks a few times before shaking her head. She found the guts to hug him.

"Congratulations Tae-tae." She said, calling him by his childhood nickname too.

His hug was tight, and Aliya inhales his familiar scent, which she will miss as new boundaries had to be set between them.

"Are you sure you're ok?" He asked refusing to let her go even if she tried to pull away.

"I'm ok, don't worry." She replied, her voice shaking.

"Liar." He whispered before stepping back to look at her. He knows her too well.

"We can still talk about it."

Aliya shook her head. "No, this is your wedding so let's not spoil it by talking about what's wrong with me." She answered but no matter how hard she tried to hold back her tears, they started to roll down her cheeks. She quickly wipes them away.

Taehyung tilted his head when he saw her crying. "Iya, what's wrong?"

"There's nothing wrong with her dummy, those are tears of joy. She's happy for you. Girls do that, when they get very happy, they cry too." Jimin replied, clapping Taehyung's shoulder. Aliya was grateful for having been saved by their friend.
