Jihyun declined when Aliya offered him beer but he accepted the can of Sprite she handed him. "You've rearranged your apartment." He commented as he looked around.
"I've changed the furnishings too." Rearranging and refurnishing her house was one of the things she did when she found out about Taehyung's wedding. She needed to get her mind occupied with something else other than pondering on what she could do or would have been.
He nodded. "I like it." Of course, he is familiar of her place too since he used to spend a lot of time here.
"Thanks." Aliya replied as she sipped her Sprite. "Jihyun, let's talk." When he looked at her, she started speaking. "Let me tell you as early as now, that I don't want to be in a relationship with anyone."
"You've said that earlier and I'll ask again, why? Is there someone else?" Jihyun fired the questions at her.
Aliya shook her head. "I am not with someone." She felt it was just fair to answer his other question too. "There is someone else." At his confused look, she continued. "I am in love with someone, but it's a one way thing. I can't be in a relationship with anyone because he is still in my heart. It may take a while for these feelings to disappear."
"Ouch." Jihyun said before he got quiet for a long time as he tried to take in what she just said. "What kind of guy wouldn't like you? Look, I am not going to ask who the guy is because I don't think you'd tell me. Will you at least let me see you every once in a while, even as a, as a friend." He said the last word reluctantly.
"Only if your promise me something." When he said name it, she continued. "You have to stop telling me you miss me, and you still love me. Next is I want you to do your best to move on. I don't think seeing each other would be smart if you really would decide to move on."
"No, I will try to move on, promise, just don't ask me to stop seeing you." Jihyung pleaded.
Aliya looked at him and she touched the side of his face. "You're really sweet Jihyun, I hope you'd find a much deserving girl who'd return your feelings."
Jihyun touched the hand holding his face before turning to kiss it. "Sorry." He whispered his apology for kissing her hand. Aliya felt bad for him for she never had been fair with him and here she is again hurting him. She moved forward and gave him a tight hug.
Aliya stepped back and moved away from him as she felt his hands wandering behind her back. She didn't want the hug to lead into something. Not after her hormones got triggered with the memories of her night with Yoongi. She might end up giving in to Jihyun and she didn't want to deal with the consequences of that.
She took her Sprite at the table and began to drink from it to cool off her body. Her phone buzzed and found a message from the person she was just thinking of...Yoongi. Send Pretty Boy home. I want to see you tonight. Aliya scowled at the message. Really? Just like that? Sure, she was thinking of their night from last week, but he can't just demand things and get it happening in an instant. She looked at Jihyun who was also looking at his phone, she can't be rude to him when he's been nothing but nice to her.
We are still busy talking so he can't leave yet. Aliya replied.
Talking? What can you possibly be talking about at this time of the night?
None of your business. Aliya replied. She felt the adrenaline running in her body as she felt his anger through his messages. Besides, you ignored me earlier, and you're with someone right now why bother seeing me?
I sent her home. Five minutes Aliya or I'll be the one to make him go home.
You can't tell me what to do so you either just have to wait longer than five minutes or not see me at all.
