Aliya suddenly felt like she wanted to be sick. How long had he been there, did he hear what she said? She asks herself.
"I uh, forgot to ask Aliya something." He replies as he walks closer to them.
"Oh ok, ask away." Nari said lightly but keeping her ground in front of Aliya not wanting to leave her.
There was an awkward silence since Yoongi obviously had no intentions of speaking until Nari leaves. Aliya reached out and touched Nari's arm and gives her a reassuring smile.
"We'll talk again later." She tells her. When her friend left, she gave a brief glance at Yoongi before facing the view from the balcony. She fiddles with her fingers as she feels her anxiety building up.
Yoongi clears his throat. "Did I interrupt something?"
Aliya's face is burning at the thought of what she said before he appeared, but she shakes her head. "No, not really. So, what is it you forgot to ask me?" She tries to change the subject immediately.
Yoongi leans his back on the railings so he is facing the opposite direction from Aliya, and crossed his arm in front of him. "Your room preference for the lake house. Color, design, etc."
All her hopes starts crashing. "Honestly, I just want a room that'll make me feel relaxed and have that vacation vibe. Nothing fancy."
He nods his head. "I think I get what you mean." He clears his throat before asking. "You seem to be upset earlier. Is there anything bothering you?"
You. She wanted to say. She wanted to lie very bad but she couldn't. "Yeah, but it's not that important, just don't think about it." She paused before asking. "How are you?"
"I'm good, busy with work I got to have this break. How are you?" It's quite an awkward conversation fot the two of them.
"Mom got married, she's happier now."
"But I'm not asking about your mom, I'm asking about you."
Aliya turns her head and didn't expect him to be looking at her. She stares into his eyes and she just wants to bawl, why does she have to love the wrong men? She wanted to tell him how she feels but she can't, what he has with that girl isn't a casual relationship like what she had with him. What they have is a real serious relationship. He must really love her. She turns her head away from him but to her horror, tears fell from her eyes as she did.
Yoongi sees it and he moves closer to her reaching out to wipe her tears. Aliya shakes her head and steps back from him. "I'm fine, I'm sorry, I just can't help it."
He has a deep scowl on his forehead. "Why?" He lifts her chin up so he could see her face.
"There you are. Time to make the toast guys, I've been looking all over for you." Jin enters with a glass filled with champagne. He looks at the two before noticing Aliya's tears. "Are you two fighting? Did you do this to her?" He asks Yoongi.
"No he didn't." Aliya answers wiping her tears with her hands. Jin offers her his handkerchief which she takes with a smile. "I'm just, I'm just being weird. It's not important anymore."
Jin looks at her again his brows connecting as he frowns. He placed an arm around her before offering her a sip from his glass. "You might need to calm yourself a bit before we get in. You know the guys wouldn't like it if they see you like this." He said.
Aliya drinks from his glass then leans towards Jin, taking comfort in the warm embrace her friend gives her. "Thank you." She tells him.
"You're welcome. Now take a deep breath and let's all get inside to make that toast ok?" Jin said quietly.
