There were no conversation between the two of them as they drove away from the hotel. The only sound was coming from the radio and Aliya's attention was caught by the lyrics of the song. It's about one's 'dream girl' and how the singer is saying that he's fallen deeply in love with her. So deep he can't pull himself out from it. She could totally relate to this.
She leans back at the seat and turned her head towards the window. Looking at nothing before she closed her eyes as she thought of the "boy of her dreams". A dream is what he will just be, she has to leave whatever notion she might have about them being together. A tear slid down the corner of her eye. She's grateful that Yoongi didn't see.
After a while, she decided to break the silence between the two of them. Enough with her personal drama and deal with reality wherein Yoongi is driving her back to her mom's place. It's a good one hour drive, which he said he didn't mind, because he is going to see his parents as well.
Yoongi's eyes were on the road, his expression neutral, and she notices his features better in their close proximity. He has great skin, very soft and smooth, his eyes were very compelling specially when he stares at you, and his lips, her face started to get warm as she thought of how his lips can work magic on her. She thought of how it felt to be kissed on her mouth, her neck and her...
"Why are you staring at me? Is there a problem?" Yoongi asks all of a sudden, startling her and making her more guilty for the thoughts she was having about him.
Aliya shakes her head. "Sorry, I was just trying to come up with how to start a conversation right now."
He smirks as he threw her a quick look, before looking back at the road. "You don't have to speak with me at all, it's fine."
"No, it's not fine, because I can't deal with the silence anymore. I don't want things to be awkward between us because of what happened last night. Unless..." She didn't finish her sentence as she turns her gaze away from him looking towards the road ahead.
"Are you going to finish your sentence or what?" He asks in that annoyed tone of voice of his. This is how he usually speaks with her before last night.
"Unless you don't want to speak with me." She says quietly. Her insecurities sets in big time specially after what happened with Taehyung. Right now, she's thinking maybe Yoongi had enough of her and that he's going to dump her after realizing she's boring and she didn't meet the standards he keeps with his women.
"Why would you think that?" He asks with a resigned tone shaking his head with a scoff.
"I don't know. Maybe because you're awfully quiet too. You know before last night, you never spoke that much to me. The times when you do speak with me, you're usually annoyed just like right now." She explains.
"I wasn't annoyed with you last night." He reminded her which made her blush and he chuckles when he glanced at her and saw her pink cheeks.
"No you weren't, last night was different." She replies in a soft voice.
He didn't answer for a long while which made Aliya think he isn't answering at all but he continued to speak.
"I don't know why you'd think that I don't want to speak with you. What you need to know about me is that I am not a charmer like Taehyung or Jimin. I don't sweet talk, I don't hold hands, I don't text unless it's something important, and most specially, I don't date. I am not the prince from a fairy tale book who'd rescue you from your trouble and sweep you off your feet princess."
Aliya's face flushed when he called her princess. She found it embarrassing and it almost sounded like an insult. "I already know that part, neither did I expect you to be like Taehyung." She found herself answering back as her annoyance builds up over everything. Mentioning Taehyung's name is still a raw subject for her because the wound in her heart is still fresh.
"No, I am not like him at all. I am glad that I made that clear to you. I don't want any misconception about what happened to us. So if you're all good with this, I don't mind seeing you again." He says nonchalantly as if he's not talking about having sex with her again with that statement.
"You don't mind seeing me again?" She asks. She feels excited that he wants to see her again, extinguishing her previous insecurities. But along with that, something else surfaces inside her.
Yoongi sighs. "I hate repeating myself Aliya."
"Goodness relax, I was just asking. Why do you have to be so grumpy all the time?" She retaliates.
"I am not grumpy." He answered in a flat voice.
"Yes, you are." She answers back, her lips twitching as she holds back her laughter.
Yoongi turns to her with a scowl. "I'm warning you Aliya stop doing that. Don't mess with me or you'll pay for it."
Aliya is finding it quite enjoyable to taunt him. She watched his cheeks get pink tinges as he got mad, and his eyes expresses emotions which is usually blank or impassive.
"Doing what? What will you do if I keep on doing it? Will you change your mind about "seeing" me again huh?"
"You're acting like a brat." He replied.
"And you're acting like a grandpa." She retorted moving her body so it's halfway turned towards him.
"What did you say?" He asked.
She gave him a copy her of his smirk as she answered. "I hate repeating myself, Yoongi."
"Fuck, you asked for this. I already warned you earlier." He said as he pulls over the side of the road. They haven't exited towards the freeway yet, so they were still in the city boundary, although this area is less crowded. He unbuckled his seatbelt before he leaned towards her to grab her head so he could crash his lips against hers. It wasn't a sweet lingering kiss, but a hard brutal one that was supposed to teach her a lesson. She didn't protest, as she allowed him to kiss her that way. It hurts, but the pain is tolerable. In fact, she was starting to like it specially when she was just recalling about how his lips felt like on her last night. Now that it's happening for real, she can't help it as her hands went up at the back of his head, raking through his hair to encourage him not to stop. He grunts before pulling away.
"Damn it." He breathes. He leaned his head against the seat's head rest, closing his eyes shut as he steadies his breath. It didn't take long before he opens his eyes and moved towards her again.
"Do you still think I'm a grandpa?" He asks in a low menacing voice that should scare Aliya, but she was anything but frightened right now.
With her lips still tingling from the kiss, a small smile creeps on Aliya's lips as she answers. "I was talking about your grumpiness when I said you're like a grandpa."
He just stares at her, his eyes wandering over her face before he straightens himself on his seat slowly reaching for his seatbelt to buckle himself. He starts the car engine.
"I'm going to be late."
"For what?" Aliya can't help but ask. She wasn't sure if he'd answer her but he did.
"It's a family thing." Was all he said and she didn't bother pry more about it because her nosiness might snap him to a different level of annoyance. There are so many things Yoongi doesn't like doing, she's just discovering them right now. She wants to find out more about this friend of hers. Not just about the things he doesn't like, but what he likes, the things that makes him happy.
