Even though it was time to go, Tom would not move from inside the house. I saw in his orange eyes that he was scared.

" May we go later." He said. "A flying eagle could eat us."

I pushed Tom outside at that moment. He was surprised at the green grass, the big blue sky, and the huge trees. I didn't think he had ever seen stuff this green, not even on the tiny people screen.

We kept walking, getting closer and closer to the Hound's house. Tom kept looking left and right, thinking a wild tiger or bear was going to attack us. His whole body was shaking when he saw that there were no walls to protect him.

Gold was waiting outside as we stopped at the Hound's house.

" Maxine, did you bring your sir along with you?" Asked Gold. "What's his name?"

It was so weird how he replaced girls with madame and boyfriend with sir. It was as if he were from Britain or from a different time.

" His name is Tom." I said. "And no, he is my brother, not my boyfriend."

" So he is your sibling," Gold said.

I only had Tom and Gold now. I would never be able to see Cream and even my sister, Jeanette.  It was all like a fantasy, with princesses and knights, ready for their stories to begin.

As we started our journey, I thought about Cream and her ribbons from cat competitions.  She would be on the covers of newspapers all over the world, while I would only be known by the two cats by my side.

Then, all of a sudden, we heard rustling in the bushes of a backyard.  The creatures then jumped out of the bushes, scaring us all.  One of them had a white body with brown spots and yellow eyes.  The other I knew already without guessing.  It was Cream!
