"Dio?" Luigi asked, knocking on the door.
"Yes?" Came Dimentio's voice from behind him instead of from inside the house, causing the man in green to jump a little and whirl around.
"Whoa! Look at you, walking out in the snow!" Luigi beamed, seeing Dimentio wearing his cloak and boots.
"You came back," Dimentio observed with a smile.
"I did," Luigi responded.
"So... what winter wonder will you be sharing with me today," The jester asked, eyeing the bag in Luigi's hands.
"Of, this one's one of my favorites!" Luigi beamed. "It's an inside activity, so come on!"
Dimentio lightly chuckled and walked up next to him. Luigi smiled then reached for the door, opening it up and holding it. "After you."
"Thank you," Dimentio nodded, stepping inside. Luigi followed close behind, shutting the door then pulling out firewood, organizing it.
"So what are we doing?" Dimentio asked, kneeling next to Luigi with a curious look on his face.
"Making cookies!" Luigi chimed.
"Oh. And how do you propose we do that? I have no oven, and the backpacking stove you so kindly gifted me would most definitely not be large enough to make cookies."
"Oh, don't worry. We're gonna use the fire. And... these!" Luigi chimed, holding up a dutch oven.
"...Rusty pieces of metal?" Dimentio questioned, lightly tapping the dutch oven.
"It's a dutch oven! It's like a portable oven you place over fires to bake things!"
"How interesting," Dimentio noted, softly smiling. "So, do we just throw the cookie dough all in?"
"No, no, no. First, we're gonna roll them into shapes. Then, we bake them. And lastly, we put frosting on! Now come on. Let's use the table to make the shapes," Luigi chimed, lighting the fire and hanging the dutch oven over it. "I'll let that pre-heat!"
Dimentio, intrigued, followed him to the table, when Luigi laid out all the cookie dough, grabbing a small chunk.
"So basically, you want to flatten it out somewhat first. Then, you can cut it into a shape," Luigi described, pulling a butter knife out and cutting an L into his cookie dough. "Once that's done we'll set it aside and roll the rest of the cookie dough together. Then, we repeat that until it's all done!"
"Question. Is it alright to eat the cookie dough before baking?" Dimentio asked when Luigi's smile faded.
"No," The man in green replied. "Don't do it. You'll get sick."
"Aw," Dimentio complained. "But it looks so delicious. The dough is calling out to me, and I must answer."
"Dio... don't," Luigi warned when Dimentio evilly smiled and suddenly grabbed a small piece, popping it into his mouth.
"Hey! What did I just say?!" Luigi snapped, as Dimentio lightly laughed.
"Cinnamon's my favorite! Simply delicious! How did you know?" Dimentio asked, chewing on the dough.
"U-uh, lucky guess. But don't eat anymore until after it's cooked."
"But it's so good," Dimentio complained, eating another piece.
"Hey! S-stop!" Luigi urged.
"Fine. Fine... just one more," Dimentio giggled, taking one last bite, causing Luigi to cross his arms and roll his eyes.
