"Hey, who's Dio? Daisy asked, stepping forward and crossing her arms.

Oh no.

Oh, no, no, no, no, no, Luigi thought.

Now he was really caught. He was REALLY busted this time. The jig was up. It was all over. He could kiss seeing Dimentio again goodbye. There was no way out this time!

He just stood there in sheer, utter, awkward silence, unable to even move. He couldn't even turn to face her. He couldn't even speak. But even if he could, what would he say? What would anyone say in a moment like this?!

"You gonna talk? Who's Dio?!" Daisy asked again, her voice slightly louder as if he couldn't hear her the first time.

This was even more nerve-wracking than when she was standing creepily next to the lamp. At least then she didn't actually SEE where Luigi was sneaking off to. How was he supposed to talk himself out of this?!

"D-daisy," Luigi breathed, the frozen spell finally lifting and allowing him to move. He turned to face her, the color in his face draining. "Y-y-you scared me! W-what are you doing all the way out here?"

"Following you. Who's Dio?" She calmly replied. "Is he your boyfriend?"

"What?! N-no! Daisy, you gotta go home!" Luigi urged, very much worried. This wasn't good. This wasn't good! How much did she see? Did she know who he was? Was she going to tell Mario?! His mind was racing, immediately inputting scenarios into his head. What if she told Mario and he came over here? What if he told Team Bleck and THEY came over here? What if they took him away?! What if they killed him?! All because Luigi wasn't careful enough to prevent Daisy from following him!

"Is this what you've been doing all this time? Sneaking off to see your secret boyfriend?!" Daisy demanded with a slightly firmer tone, holding her arm out and gesturing to the cabin.

"He's not my- he... he's not... it's not like that!" Luigi stuttered, unsure of what to think of this.

At least from what she was saying, it was clear that she didn't know that Dimentio was the one he was hanging out with, so that was good.

"Oh. So what is it like, then?" Daisy asked, smirking. "Don't lie to me. I see that snowman you made. I saw him hug you."

"YOU SAW THAT?! H-HOW LONG HAVE YOU BEEN STANDING HERE?!" Luigi exclaimed, feeling his face heat up more and more by the second.

"Long enough! Who is he? I've never seen him before. Does Mario know about-" Daisy started.

"Daisy!" Luigi interrupted, grabbing her shoulders. "Please. Please, please, PLEASE! I-I'm begging you. Don't tell anyone about this. Especially Mario!"

She raised an eyebrow and gave him a confused look. Why wouldn't he want Mario to know? She thought they were close. She thought they told each other everything, so Luigi requesting her not to tell Mario was odd. Especially since it was a known fact that Luigi was an oversharer. He NEVER kept secrets. Especially from his brother.

"What? Why?" She asked.

"Please. I won't ever ask anything else of you ever again. But you're my best friend. Can I trust you to keep this secret?" Luigi pleaded, eyes beginning to water. "Please. I-I'll do anything. Just don't tell him!"

She waited a moment, just staring at his hopeless expression, not sure if she's ever seen him act quite like this.

".... If I don't tell him, will you tell me everything." She asked, slowly smiling.

"Sure. Whatever. Just please DON'T tell Mario." Luigi begged.

Daisy paused as if to think it over before she smirked and shrugged. "Alright, Luigi. Looks like you got a deal."
