All my colors are warm colors (red orange yellow etc—yes, even the purple, because it's more pink than blue), b u t the purple is A. Right in the middle of the picture, and B. Surrounded by much warmer and darker tones. So! It stands out more, especially cuz her shirt is a desaturated yellow, and based on the basic 6-step color wheel (although that one's not technically correct but whatever), yellow is the opposite of purple. So yeah. There's your confusing lesson for the day
I could also talk about hue shifting but uhhhhh I'll only explain that if you guys ask me to
