Scribble lighting is so therapeutic guys
Rex Salazar my son, I love him. 10/10, the second time since like, elementary school that a main character has been my absolute favorite character in a show. He's amazing, would die for him
Anyway, me and my sister finished Generator Rex a few days ago, and then managed to watch the crossover between Gen Rex and Ben 10 yesterday, which was also very cool. These shows reminded me how much I l o v e action shows—I keep wanting to watch Invincible on Amazon Prime but I don't wanna spend more money jshdhdjd
Or maybe it's on HBO Max idk
Anyway, we hadn't found a real action show since Voltron Legendary Adventure, way back in 2017-2018, and ahhhh
I could go on and on about Gen Rex: it had a surprisingly coherent storyline for a cable show, AND THE ANIMATION IS REALLY GOOD??? Also spanish practice cuz Rex is Latino and every once in a while we'll get a sentence or two from him or his family, or long monologues from the Spanish soap opera he watches
In general, he's such a good, complex, well-developed character and the show is absolutely worth watching just for him (also his machines are so satisfying, like legit I love them)
OH ALSO I'M HAVING A STYLE BREAKTHROUGH MAYBE
I STARTED DOING IT WITH THE CROSSOVER SRT I MADE LAST CHAPTER—WAS IT LAST CHAPTER?? ANYWAY, BASICALLY, WHATEVER COLOR I'M LIGHTING, I JUST TAKE TWO HIGHLY SATURATED COLORS ON EITHER SIDE OF THE COLOR ON THE WHEEL—SO COLORS THAT WOULD THEORETICALLY CREATE THE OG COLOR IF MIXED TOGETHER—AND THEN I PICK A SIDE FOR EACH AND SCRIBBLE
THEN FOR EYES I DO THAT, BUT PUT A COMPLETELY OPPOSITE COLOR ON THE OTHER SIDE
FOR EXAMPLE
BROWN EYES: BROWN IS DESATURATED ORANGE RIGHT? SO I GET A SATURATED ORANGE, BUT MAKE IT A BIT MORE YELLOW, THEN MAKE A DOT. THEN GRAB A RED, CUZ YELLOW AND RED MAKE ORANGE, AND PUT A DOT NEXT TO THE OTHER DOT. THEN I GO CRAZY AND GRAB A BLUE GREEN AND DO IT ON THE OTHER SIDE AND I THINK IT'S SO PRETTY I LOVE IT

Anyway, uh, this was just gonna be a warmup for me to do some Intense Art afterwards, but now I'm kind of tired
Then again I have nothing better to do we'll see
