Xi Wenjun was speechless.
There was always a reason why someone would fall in love with another person. That reason could be whimsical to the extreme and might be invisible to outsiders. Whether someone was good or not had nothing to do with falling in love.
"Wenjun, I feel so regretful, really regretful." Shen Eunha was crying so much that she could barely get the words out. Her voice was brimming with regret. She leaned over and covered her face with her hands. Tears flowed out through the gaps between her fingers. "I regret stubbornly insisting on being aloof. Why did I have to care so much about how others saw me and my pride? Why did I have to wait for Jeon Jungkook to confess to me? I waited for over 20 years. If I had confessed to him back then, maybe everything would be different today! I might have become Mrs. Jeon! There would be no room for Ye Lisa!"
"Eunha, you can't live in the past. Jeon Jungkook is your regret, but what's done can't be undone. There's no room for regret. We have to look to the future!"
"Look to the future?" Shen Eunba shook her head. "No! Wenjun, I'm not willing to accept this. Jungkook belongs to me. I'm just claiming my emotions. What do you mean by what's done can't be undone? There's still room to turn things around!"
Xi Wenjun was shocked. "Do you know what your current thoughts and behavior mean? You're trying to come between a married couple. You're acting like a homewrecker! If those reporters find out, your acting career will be ruined!"
Shen Eunha eagerly looked at Xi Wenjun as if she was placing all of her hopes on her. "That's why you have to help me! You have to! If you don't help me, my life will be ruined."
The red traffic light turned green. The vehicles in front of them started to slowly move, and the driver behind them impatiently honked at them.
Xi Wenjun drove the car forward. Feeling that Shen Eunha was staring at her, she tightened her grip on the steering wheel.
This kind of thing didn't only affect Shen Eunha's future. In addition, this was inherently an immoral thing. Xi Wenjun knew how many stars had been exposed as homewreckers. Their careers in the entertainment industry were ruined once they were found out. However, she was Shen Eunha's agent. In these past years, she didn't have to find resources and contacts for her or worry about the minutiae of her daily life. She had profited too much from being Shen Eunha's agent. If you take advantage of others, then you have to give them face. It was impossible for her to refuse Shen Eunha's request.
"I can try to help you, but I can't guarantee..."
Shen Eunha's face showed her happiness. "That's okay. As long as you're willing to help me. I just want to try."
Xi Wenjun sighed. "Okay, let's give it a try then."
Xi Wenjun's palms were sweaty. She didn't have the slightest confidence. She faintly felt that the best decision would be to refuse Shen Eunha, but now, she didn't have the slightest way to retreat.
After they returned to the studio, Xi Wenjun planned on drafting a serious statement. She told the others in the studio to keep an eye on Jeon Corporation as well as any gossip and news about Shen Eunha.
She had a premonition that since Jeon Corporation's CEO knew about this, he wouldn't let this matter continue to ferment. He would definitely take steps to deal with this soon.

Xi Wenjun's expectations came true.
The next day, Jeon Corporation issued a clarifying statement about the rumors running rampant online about Jeon Jungkook, his wife, and Shen Eunba. The statement strongly denied that anything had happened between Jeon Jungkook, and Shen Eunha in their youth. The statement also responded to the speculations that Ye Lisa was the third party that broke up Jeon Jungkook and Shen Eunha’s relationship by saying that Jeon Jungkook and Ye Lisa were genuinely in love. There was no third party in their relationship.
