Without even mentioning the future market for little fresh meats, they were already a main force in the current entertainment industry. Little fresh meats had the looks and the skills to launch their careers, making it easier to attract fans.

Ye Lisa was just making a suggestion. She didn't expect that Jungkook would have such a big reaction to it.

She really wanted to discuss the growing market for little fresh meats, but after seeing Jungkokk's gloomy expression, she swallowed down the points she had wanted to use to argue her point.

Jungkook's face was as calm as always. "It's late. Let's go to sleep."

Ye Lisa looked at Jungkook's half-exposed pectoral muscles and the rest of his well-built physique including his well-proportioned and powerful muscles. Visually or tactilely, they would be a wonderful treat.

Jungkook had just reached his 30's and his energy hadn't reached its peak. With every passing day, he was more attractive and full of life, especially when he was wearing a suit and walking briskly without any expression and with his gaze fixed. In those moments, he was bursting with pheromones.

In Ye Lisa's opinion, Jungkook wasn't any worse than the famous stars in the entertainment industry. As for those little fresh meats, they were even less of a match for him.

It was only natural that others would covet such a rich, handsome, and talented man. He had a physique that naturally attracted the opposite gender, so Ye Lisa didn't blame this situation where others would be attracted to him even though he wasn't inviting that attention.

Ye Lisa yawned and sleepily thought; if a man like him wasn't even interested in someone like Shen Eunha, who could attract his interest?

She thought of how close their bodies were at Madam Zhou's birthday party. Jungkook's hot breath, how she had stood on his feet to perform the dance steps, the words he had murmured into her ear that night, and how he was unlimited in showing her tolerance in the past. Jungkokk had expressed that he likes her in all sorts of ways.

But if he likes her, why didn't he clearly tell her?

Jungkook was the kind of person who was clear in what he liked. As a person that was unscrupulous when it came to obtaining what he wanted, how could he let off someone that he likes?

But... Ye Lisa thought of that written contract. It felt like a thorn in her heart.

Perhaps, it was because of that written contract that Jungkook treated her so well. Perhaps, it was just her delusion that his actions showed that he liked her.

Right now, her imagination was running wild, but when she was able to see the big picture later, it would mean nothing.

Feelings were inherently complicated. Let alone the feelings of a man like Jeon Jungkook.

As she pondered this, sleepiness quickly overcame her. Ye Lisa fell asleep shortly after lying down.

Lying next to Ye Lisa, Jungkook listened to her deep breathing and looked at the bright moonlight outside the window. He wasn't sleepy at all.

Two years, two years had passed since he woke up from his coma.

But in the past two years, Jungkokk didn't even mention the matter of s*xual intimacy between husband and wife, let alone talk about it with Ye Lisa.

He wasn't a saint. He was a normal man. Moreover, he was a young and vigorous man who had normal needs. After suppressing this need for two years, every night felt like torture.

What was it like to not touch or do anything to his lovely wife that was lying next to him? Torture.

Jungkook took a deep breath and gulped. As the sweet scent that belonged to the woman by his pillow entered his nose, it stirred up all of the cells in his body. The fragrance in the air was like aphrodisiac poison that heated up his blood and prompted a man's most primitive desire.

It wasn't that he didn't have a physical reaction, but they shared a bed, so he had to forcibly suppress it. He had a contract with the woman next to him.

He had to wait until Ye Lisa completely accepted him. He couldn't force her.

He couldn't make Ye Lisa fall in love with him at first sight, so he could only patiently coax her and let familiarity breed fondness.

(T/N: This written contract had been mentioned so many times that I finally went back and looked through the chapters that the author had made edits to find the scene that has it. That scene feels so out of place with the rest of the original chapter and makes Ye Lisa's actions seem very illogical and unreasonable in the following chapters if they had that discussion early on. I kind of want to pretend that the earlier version I read is the final one.

Anyways, leading up to signing that contract, Jungkook told Ye Lisa that he wasn't interested in her and that marrying anyone is a burden to him, so he might as well marry her since she's pregnant with his child. The agreement is simply he will provide for her financially in return for her marrying him, giving birth to his child, and serving as a reason to keep women that are interested in him away from him. It feels so out-of-character that he would even feel the need to lie to her and cause this unnecessary misunderstanding.)
