Today was the day I realised why I loved the music room in our school so much. It was quite a big room but you would not recognise it because it was stuffed with many things. You could find any kind of instrument here, from a grand piano to a little triangle, all kinds of music sheets, and a few chairs stored in every corner of the room. However these were not the things that made this room special, it was the scent of wood and most importantly candles that were burning anytime our teacher was present in the room. The sun was shining for the first time in a few days through the big windows. The combination of all of these aspects made me come to the conclusion I loved this room. I sat on the floor with my back leaning against the wall, sunlight was playing on my face and I was enjoying this precious moment of peace. Everyone was having lunch right now in the cafeteria and nobody knew I was having this intimate moment in the other part of school.

I heard the sound I was waiting for and was the reason why I was in here in the first place. The sound of an incoming video chat. I picked it up after the second ringing. I saw the beautiful face of my beloved best friend. Liz. She looked stunning as always. Her flawless full face makeup with red lipstick that gave her the famme fatale look. I got a glance of her dress which was dark green and complimented her curvy body in all the right places.

"Bloody hell! Are you single, señorita?" I said in a flirty tone. I liked to flirt with my friends or just compliment them. Seeing their eyes light up with happiness was enough to make me happy. It was the same with Liz. I saw her smile as she participated in the game.

"I'm so sorry. I'm already taken, although if I could exchange my boyfriend for anyone it would be you." She winked at me through the small screen on my phone. I missed spending time with her being just us talking about nonsense at 1 a.m. in her bedroom. "First of all, before I forget about the best thing that happened today so far and that is the gift I received from you. I did not know I mentioned it to you but it made me incredibly happy. Thank you, thank you so much."

"You did not know you mentioned it? You've been telling me about those camera lenses every time you've got a chance," I smiled. She really talked about those lenses all the time and I always send Liz a gift for Valentine's Day so I took the chance. I liked to listen to her in moments like these. When she talked about her passion which was photography. "You are welcome but I have to say that I bought it for a simple egoistic reason."

"And what is the reason may I ask?" She already knew the answer and yet she mocked me with this question.

"The reason is you being our band photographer." Her face shined with satisfaction. We talked about this possibility since Liz got her very first camera. Fifteen year old girls living thousands miles away from each other dreaming of working together. Now three years later, we are here talking about it again. The only difference was that it used to be a dream and now it seemed like a real thing.

"It would be an honor," she said in her honey voice with a hint of excitement. "Now, you tell me what you think about my look? She stepped away from her phone for me to see her whole silhouette.

"You look stunning and I don't even have to look at you to say it. Blake is a lucky guy." The reason why Liz was all dressed up was that she and Blake were having dinner at some fancy restaurant in London. I could see on her face she was filled with happiness and excitement. She always dreamt of this kind of a date like there was in the movies. To me their whole relationship was like it was cut out from a romantic movie. It made me a little sad. I liked being single and wished Liz all the best, however when everyone throws their happy relationships on this day to your face it is not easy. I wondered if there was anyone who would willingly spend time with me and what was even more important if they could handle my weird personality.
