𝓐nd so they ran. The unlikely three departed from this dangerous world in search of relief, freedom, a new start; and they were doing it in style. First came the car in which they raced down the road in, following road signs and heading to the nearest airport at dangerous speeds through the almost ghost-like roads. Those who dared to be on the road would barely see the vehicle spiralling down the road, then came to the airport. With a little bit of compulsion the three had been led onto a first class flight from Houston to Paris, no cash needed, no checks needed, just champagne, comfy leather and the world at their fingertips. Lastly came the hotel, travelling was so exhausting; even for the immortals so another round of compulsion and the group were set up in one of the most luxurious hotels in the heart of the city. A normal life for the two Mikaelson's, a completely new world for the LaRue witch.

As the taxi pulled up outside of the hotel the three jumped out of the vehicle and waited for the bellhop to come towards the vehicle to collect the many.. many shopping bags that Rebekah had accumulated. Airport shops were expensive for those who pay, for the Original blonde it was simply offering out a whole new travel wardrobe. Evelyn, of course, only had her shoulder bag which she took from the bellhop and slung over her shoulder. The two Originals are already making their way to the open door which the doorman held for them, the little witch close behind. It had been a whirlwind of a day, most of it the Witch kept to herself as the two Originals indulged in not only champagne but the kind staff that helped them along the way. Evelyn understood, it's how they had to survive. To feed from mortals. Something she would have to adjust to whilst with them. She remembers longer trips with Hayley in which she'd have to feed, she always tried to hide it from Evelyn as if it was a bad habit. But it's what kept her living, it's what kept all of them living so adjusting to this lifestyle was the only way forward.

" Oi, LaRue. Keep up! " Rebekah barked back to the Witch as the Mikaelson's stood at the front desk, being given the room keycards they just compelled from the receptionist. Evelyn gave a small smile and joined the other two, almost apologetic in her gaze for getting lost in her thoughts. Rebekah handed a hotel room key to her. " We've got the penthouse, four rooms with individual keys. Tomorrow evening we'll begin the drive down south but for now, we'll be enjoying the city. " The blonde spoke, beginning to walk towards the elevator with both Kol and Evelyn watching after her. Both in a slight astonishment at the confidence and leadership she had over the group, the two glanced at each other for a moment and exchanged a silent joke before they followed after her like two lost puppies. The three entered the elevator and pressed for the 14th floor, a few moments of silent ascending later and the elevator opens up once again with Rebekah leading the three of them. Heading to the big double doors at the end of the hallway, taking her keycard and swiping it over the door handle.

Rebekah pushed open the double doors and stepped inside of the dark room, triggering a sensor to illuminate the room. The room sported a mixture of cool blues and muted reds that were spread through the open plan social room, floral curtains pulled back and showing the balcony outside in which looked onto the city of love and its night sky of street lights. Like a sea of fireflies sparkling across the city. The open room was topped with hanging chandeliers, the crystals that hung were glistening in the bulb light. Antique furniture covered the hardwood floor. Evelyn stepped further into the room ahead of the Originals to get a better look. The witch turned her head to the left to see two doors at one end of the apartment space. She walked over towards the window to get a better look at Paris from above, the two Originals settling into the place.

Evelyn looked to her hand in which her own keycard was, raising it and holding it against the door handle as Rebekah had just done. Click. She looked slightly surprised that it worked, pulling down on the handle and pulling the door open so she could step out onto the balcony to get a better look at the rooftops of the city in their nocturnal beauty. It was a peaceful moment, the distant sound of cars and people below only added to the character of the view. The Eiffel tower itself being visible, not but a few streets over.
