" You sure they're still going to be in here? " The witch questioned as the two snuck their way through the Lafayette, looking around each corner and attempting to avoid any hostile coven dwellers who may be looking for a fight. Trying to bargain with witches won't happen if they find you've been slaughtering their fellow coven members. The Mikaelson who was just in front of Evelyn nodded his head. " It should be, normally I have it sealed up by a Claire witch but after Davina died there weren't any Claire witches left. My sister sealed it just after the funeral. But you'll be able to get us in. Just have to teach you the spell. " Kol crossed over to the next mausoleum, Evelyn following right behind him. She nodded at his words, glancing to her hands for a brief moment before looking back up to the Mikaelson who's attention remained on the maze around them. " So we hand them over the dark objects and hopefully they'll just let you see her? " She questioned, her attention remaining on Kol who glanced to her for a brief moment. " They've wanted to get their hands on these objects for a very long time, I'm sure it will persuade them. " He headed down a narrow walkway and out into a wider opening where he b-lined straight for a particular tomb, Evelyn was close on his tail. Kol stood before the gated door and looked back over to Evelyn.
" Right, I need you to- "
" mehaignier " The witch muttered, hand extended towards the gate. The sealing spell that had been there had quickly melted away, foliage that was previously covering the handle to the gate had withered away. The Mikaelson looked back over to Evelyn from the door with a very confused expression. " How did you know that spell? " He questioned, stepping towards Evelyn who shared his confused gaze. " I don't know... just intuition " She stumbled for an explanation. Kol paused for a moment before placing a hand on the handle, pulling it down and opening up the gate. He made his way quickly down the short corridor and towards the main room. Evelyn was close on his tail though when she entered the space she stopped briefly. The room was both abundant in magical artifacts and laboratory implements. Kol seemed to moved around the room effortlessly, moving from table to table and gathering items. The witch looked on at him for a few more moments, it was only when the Mikaelson noticed that she blinked. " There should be some duffle bags underneath that sofa, bring it here " He gestured to the sofa in the corner of the room.
Evelyn nodded and headed over to grab the bags from under the couch and bring it over to him where Kol began to place object after object into them. The witch paused for a moment before deciding on her words. " So you think they'll — "" How did you know that spell? " Kol interupted as he turned his head to question her, a confused frown upon his brow. The brunette paused for a moment, thinking over her words yet she still stumbled over them. " Well, I — "
" That's an old spell I helped to create but I haven't seen any witch use it in centuries. " He straightened his posture, object in hand. Evelyn rose her shoulders into a shrug. " Maybe it was in my family grimoire " She suggested, grabbing a few objects from close by and putting them into the bag. The Mikaelson stood still for a few more moments before he continued to pack the bags. " I helped your kind make these dark objects, they've been after them for a rather long time so I'm sure they'll help me in order to obtain them. " Kol answered Evelyn's half-question, he knew what she wanted to know. The two continued to fill the bags with what objects they could locate within the room. Evelyn quickly sent off a message to the french quarter coven asking for an audience with their harvest girls and all they had to do from then on was wait. Kol resorted to pacing whilst Evelyn sat on the arm of the couch, hands in her jean pockets and trying to ignore the trembling that continued from them.
" They're taking too long " Kol finally spoke, looking towards the entrance of the playroom. Evelyn followed his direction of eye contact before looking back over to him. " They'll respond Kol. Come on, a Mikaelson and a traitor to the covens wanting an audience? It's too intriguing for them to ignore. " She points out whilst removing her jacket, moving to stand up and look over the bags that were upon the coffee table. The wild brother stood still for a brief moment, accepting her words before he continued to pace. " this is the only way I can see her, they have my weakness in the palm of their hands. " He muttered, moving a hand to brush the sweat away from his face.
Evelyn straightened up, moving her hands from her pockets, she thought it over for a moment, a solemn and sympathetic gaze looking towards the Mikaelson. " what do you think your brother meant about her being changed? " She questioned, arms crossing over her chest. Kol glanced over to Evelyn for a moment before returning his focus back to his pacing. " He's lying. Nik has never liked Davina. " He remarked, stopping for a moment to look over towards Evelyn. " at least we know she's still there. That's the big thing. " Ev pointed out, trying to inspire some hope in him. She's moving her hands back into her jean pockets when she frowns, feeling a piece of paper within her jacket pocket. She takes out the piece of paper and opens it up, Kol speeding to her side eager to know what it said.
