The sickening torture that had been Evelyn's existence ever since The Hollow took her hostage was growing more painful by the hour, though she felt no physical pain what she witnessed was enough to drive her crazed within heartbreak. The only constant she could feel was the slowness of her heartbeat and the deadened drone of the dark witches' magic entrapping her within herself. How tormenting it was to be a witness to ones own conscious, a spectator to the downfall of her loved ones.. to simply stand and watch on as her dear friend was suffering a similar fate.

It had been hours since the hollow had instructed Evelyn to stand and watch on as the Hybrid queen fought the trance-like spell that had been cast upon her alongside the brutal dosage of wolfsbane. Evelyn had noted the smile upon Inadu's face as she left the two of them within the room, she knew how to hurt the LaRue girl, a pain that wasn't needed. Inadu had bested her, she had no means of escape, trapped in this state until Kol had finished her bidding and even then it was uncertain if she'd ever be granted control of herself once again. This act of forcing her to watch as Hayley battled on was simply for her own enjoyment, to know that the younger witch had no choice but to look on. Evelyn thought she'd seen cruelty in this world, barbaric actions, betrayals amongst kin, sacrifices with great prices; she'd believed that she had become versed in the evil that surrounded them but The Hollow had introduced a higher tier of pain for her to injure. In these very moments, Evelyn would much prefer to be harmed, to be burned, stabbed, beaten, to bleed rather than remain in this state.

The longer it went on the more that the LaRue witch worried for the Hybrid, how much wolfsbane was enough to truly damage the other? Was the hollow intent on killing her? Allow Hayley to perish before her very eyes. As if Evelyn's prayers had been answered, Hayley began to stir. She could feel a glimmer of hope forming in her chest, Hayley was coming out of the trance; but along with the rising hope within her came a saddened veil that fell over her. One that but increased as the hybrid opened her eyes and began to free herself of the restrains. Evelyn was stood at the edge of the room, equal distance between the two doors. Deathly still, if she could feel the strain on her body she was sure that her legs would be aching from how still and rigid she had been.

Within a few moments Hayley had freed herself from her bonds and stood from the seat, staggering slightly from the overwhelming wolfsbane that remained in her system. Though as she recovered and began to take in her surroundings she finally set eyes upon the witch that had been forced to watch her.

" Evelyn... No, what did she do to you? " Hayley speaks, struggling to place one foot before the other to make her way over to the statue of her friend. " You were never supposed to be involved in all of this. " She mutters, finally reaching the girl and placing her hands onto her shoulders before instantly retracting them from the burning sensation that crawled over her palms. Just as before where Kol had attempted to touch her, Hayley had been denied the ability to reach out for Evelyn as her skin burned like violent magma.

The witch's eyes looked to her friends hands, scanning for any signs of real damage yet nothing had formed upon her skin. The same eyes soon returned to the hybrid's face, looking on to see the pain that the other felt, almost able to predict her internal monologue and how it was blaming herself for everything that had happened to the LaRue witch. Evelyn wanted to call out, wanted to scream to Hayley, to reassure her, to help but she had no control over herself. All but her eyes that shrieked sadness in their softened gaze.

Hayley took in a shuddering breath deep into her lungs before moving to the door beside her, rattling at the handle yet unable to break through the magical hold that was placed over the room. It was just them, trapped and both vulnerable to The Hollow's doings. The hybrid staggered her way towards the other side of the room, holding onto a close by table for support that was lined with various instruments of torture; blade after blade placed out hungry to be used in violent ways. Though the tools themselves were far from the threat within the room, Evelyn watched as it began to form.. the particles colouring and grouping together to manifest the image of a figure stood between herself and Hayley. Even with good lighting in the room, Evelyn could not place who it was but as a spectator within the room she could only assume Hayley would know.

" You're wasting your energy. " He spoke, stepping slowly towards the struggling hybrid queen who turned to look at the figure with a horrified gaze. A gaze that told Evelyn all too well she knew who this was.

" You're not Jackson, you're a vision... you can't hurt me. " Hayley muttered, lowering her gaze and shaking her head as if to dismiss the figure before her.
