" Any luck little witch? " The Mikaelson questioned as he moved to sit across from Evelyn, it had been hours of silence on the flight and Kol had decided it was time to speak once more. The silence had been deafening, like their own personal brand of tension-filled white noise which did anything but calm them. But what could they say? If it wasn't helpful to fixing the situation then it wasn't worth saying. So silence is what remained. The witch glanced up from the grimoire which she'd been taking notes from. The table before them was covered in pages of scribbled down notes, crumpled up pages and coffee ring marks from the numerous coffees that Evelyn had been relying on to stay awake. When the witch looked up, her eyes met the Mikaelson's hopeful gaze yet she was sure he knew the answer to his question. Evelyn gave a solemn shake of her head as she sat up in her seat. " Not anything helpful, if Elijah was still clinging on then I could of done something but- " she cuts herself off, trying to ignore her guilt of abandoning them. The Original seemed to clock it, giving a single nod as he leaned forward within his seat to rest his elbows onto the table between them. " We'll find a way to get him back. There's one thing that is certain in this world and that is ' The Mikaelson's will always find a way to return to the land of the living. ' " The words themselves caused a small smile to twinge at the corner of her lips for a brief moment as the leaned back into her seat and away from all of her notes, her fingers drummed on the edge of the table for a moment before she reached for her phone that had been sat idle for the last few hours, Evelyn checked the screen, expecting a notification, a voicemail, anything. But there was nothing. Nothing at all.

With a huff the witch placed the phone back down and closed her eyes for a brief moment. Kol kept his focus upon her, examining how the normally upbeat and resilient witch was so different when fear and uncertainty crept into her mind. " Have you had any sleep? " The Mikaelson questioned, raising a brow as the witch stifled a yawn. She slowly shook her head and looked back down to her notes. " Didn't have the time " she remarked, picking up one of the pens once again ready to scan through the grimoire. Kol scoffed at her words and stood from his seat to join her upon her side of the table. " Well - " he began, turning to face the other " -we're making time. Can't have a tired witch on our side. Whatever it is that's going on, you'll need your rest. " The witch looked confused by his words as he now sat next to her. " I don't think I can sleep Kol. " She moved some hair from her face as she looked to the Mikaelson sat beside her. He smirked briefly, raising a hand. " Well, there's one little magic trick I still have after all this time. " Kol spoke, looking to the hand. " Close your eyes and I'll see what I can do. " Evelyn held her breath for a moment, hesitantly closing her eyes and relaxing into the seat. Wondering what it is the Mikaelson was planning. She felt his middle and index finger gently connect with her skin beside her right eye and his thumb fall upon her cheek. Evelyn exhaled slowly and felt as if her soul was being surrounded by a cloud of dream-inducing lavender and cotton. Her body drifted against the leather seat as her mind was guided into her subconscious and the world around them, the plane, the sea below them... all of it vanished from them.

Evelyn sharply inhaled as she sat up from her lying down position upon the forest floor, a stunned moment of stillness before she whipped her head round to her left and then right, taking in the forest around her, the never ending horizons surrounded her were littered by hardwood trees and ferns. The distant sounds of squirrels, doves and woodcocks reverbed around the clearing where the witch found herself in. Evelyn pushed herself off of the ground and onto her feet, a hand moving to move blonde locks with pink ends from her face... blonde hair? and this forest was so familiar. But... how...

" Pretty cool trick hmm? " The sound of the Mikaelson's voice came from just outside the clearing as he made his way round to lean against one of the trees, a grin upon his lips as he looked to the witch. " Never knew you were a blonde. " He remarked, causing Evelyn to smile slightly. " I was until about two years ago. " She concluded, digging her hands into her grey raincoat... she's pausing for a moment, looking down to the coat and then back to her surroundings.  " I know where we are... " She began, looking back towards the Mikaelson who had began to walk her way. " ... We're in the Kisatchie National Forest. I went here when I was around 15 with my Great aunt and Madame Marlow. "Evelyn had such a warm and nostalgic smile upon her lips. " Well, this is where your subconscious wanted to take you. " Kol concluded as he raised his hand once more. " It's a form tactile telepathy that us vampires have. It's basically a dream manipulation, but I'm here too. "
