" 𝓦𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙠𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙖𝙩 𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙚 𝙇𝙞𝙩𝙩𝙡𝙚 𝙒𝙞𝙩𝙘𝙝? " The familiar voice spoke from over Evelyn's shoulder which causes the slightly shorter witch to turn to look to him. She paused for a moment, a small smile on her lips before looking back to the two items in hand. " Just some headphones. " She answered, holding up the two boxes. The Mikaelson frowned briefly yet stayed quiet. The two stood still for a moment before Evelyn looked back to him and noticed his frown. " What's wrong? " She asked, trying to figure out why he looks so confused by her interest in the items. " Aren't they supposed to have wires attached? " He questioned, taking one of the boxes from her hand and looking it over; confused as to how the wireless earbuds worked. The witch couldn't help but grin at his comment. " They're wireless, they work through Bluetooth. " She took the box back from him and placed the other back on the shelf. The wild Mikaelson stayed quiet, his frown only growing at her words. Evelyn couldn't help but laugh softly, so much had changed in 5 years.  " I'll explain it later. " She spoke, taking out the phone that Kol had given to her not 24 hours ago.

The two made their way over to the register within the duty free shop where Evelyn placed down the headphones and swiped on her phone for the card payment option. The Mikaelson looking further confused that she could pay via phone. " Merci. " Evelyn spoke, taking the headphones and heading for the exit of the shop with Kol beside her; grinning at the priceless expression on his face. " Where's Rebekah? " The witch questioned, placing the headphone box into her carry on shoulder bag. The Original glanced around the terminal looking for her, seemingly she'd vanished. " Probably snuck into the first class lounge. " He remarked, digging his hands into his pockets. Evelyn nodded and began to head towards the gate for their flight, they had just under 20 minutes before boarding and with it being a short flight Evelyn would eat when they land.

As the duo made their way to the gate they found their seats and sat watching the planes arrive and depart. Kol was slumped within his seat, focused on the planes and Evelyn was working to set up the wireless ear buds she'd just purchased whilst setting up a music app on the new phone. The silence between them was comfortable but the LaRue had some questions she wanted answered.

" So what's in Saint Tropez? " She questioned, putting the earphones into their charging case. Kol turned his head to her and gave a small " Hmm? " to suggest he wasn't paying attention. " What's in Saint Tropez? " She spoke, turning slightly in her seat to face him.

" Aside from the obvious sun, sea and party scenes... " He began, sitting upright now and checking his watch briefly. "... I have a few old friends within the area, always good fun " The Mikaelson had a smile pulling at the corner of his lips. Evelyn nodded slowly. " So yesterday did you contact them to let them know we're coming? " She pushed further for information, realising how little she knew about their trip. He nods, pulling out his own phone and heading to the browser to show the Witch a few pictures of the villa. " My friend Gerart bought this villa a few years ago and I just purchased it from him. " Evelyn moved closer to him in order to look at the pictures, a somewhat stunned expression upon her face. " This place must of cost millions? " She exclaimed, still not yet adjusted to the disregard for money that the Mikaelson's had. " 8 500 000 € actually. " Kol confirmed, locking the phone and placing it back in his pocket. The witch turned to look at him with a shocked gaze which only strengthened his grin, she was about to say something before-

" There you two are. " The blonde Mikaelson's voice came from in front of the two, stood there with her arms folded over her chest and looking between her brother and the witch. Kol nodded to her and gestured for her to sit beside him. " I was just showing Evelyn Gerart's villa that I purchased. " His words seemed to earn a scoff from Rebekah as she perched beside her brother. Evelyn was now the one to frown. " Not a fan of the villa Rebekah? " the witch questioned, Rebekah turning to look at her and then to her brother who was smirking like the Cheshire cat.    " I think the villa is beautiful I just think the pig who my brother bought it from is not worth socialising with and should be kept away with a 10 foot pole. " Rebekah spoke, keeping her gaze on her brother as if to blame him. Evelyn was sure there was more to this story that she was about to hear. The brother was about to speak when the tanoid above them began to speak. Their gate was opening and not a moment too soon.
