I was sitting on the jet with one earphone in my ear half listening to music, half listening to Morgan he's talking to me and Elle about some hot chick he picked up from the bar the other day
Usually spencer is sitting with us but he's somewhere else.
Wait where is Spence I look to the other side of the plane and see he's over by Gideon holding what looks like red skins tickets.
I've had a crush on spencer for almost a year I've tried to make a move on him but every time I did Morgan or Pen interrupted which is actually slightly suspicious now that I think about it "Morgan?" he looks up giving me his attention "yeah baby girl?" I wave for him to come a little closer so I can whisper it to him "Why do you and pen always interrupt me when I try to make a move on spence" His eyes widen slightly at the unexpected question "what on earth are you talking about baby" I know he's just pretending by the way he's bouncing his foot up and down "don't baby me Derek you're the only one who knows what happened between me and spence last year" He sighs then says "I don't want it to happen again and neither does Pen so we try to stop it from happening" I lay back and agree with him knowing what he's doing is purely out of love
I see spence stand up and it looks like he's walking towards me with the red skin game tickets is he gonna ask me to go with him.
I let myself hope for a second and Morgan noticed but he had a look of pity in his eye
Spence walks right past me not even sparing me a glance I see him sit next to JJ and give her one of the tickets
well that's embarrassing
I thought he was gonna give them to me I chuckle a little "How about Me, you, and Penelope have a pity party at your house" he says with a small smile on his face "Thanks but I think I'm just gonna throw myself a pity party" he reaches over and grabs my hand rubbing small circles with his thumb
Time skip the night of Reid's date
I was just sitting at home with my tub of ice cream crying and the music I had on really didn't help I close my eyes letting a few more tears fall I just felt stupid I knew he liked her and it stung especially because he-
There was a sudden knock at my door interrupting my thoughts I stand and try to wipe my mascara stained face clean hoping it worked I opened the door and as soon as I did no one other than spencer reid came walking into my house rambling
I shut the door behind him "I almost kissed her I can't believe it I'm so happy" as soon as I processed what spence said tears started forming in the corners of my eyes I tried to get rid of them but I couldn't
"She was so pretty tonight she even held my hand and hugged me it was amazing" I turned around
"spence..." I said it didn't gain any of his attention he was still rambling
"Spencer Reid!" he was a little taken back by you yelling at him
"Look spence I need you to leave" H looked confused
"What" he said quietly
"I'm sorry spencer but go please" he was standing there confused then started walking to the door giving me one last glance before leaving
He had made it halfway home before he realized that when he got there you looked like you were crying and when he came in it got worse he didn't notice before but he noticed now and he felt guilty knowing his plan to make you jealous just caused to to get hurt.
Next morning at the BAU
I've been sitting in pen's office doing my paperwork and telling her everything she gave me tons of hugs and said that she'd date me if I wasn't so in love with spencer
"I honestly think I'm in love with him pen this sucks" her eyes are wide looking somewhere behind me I'm confused until I hear someone clear their throat behind me I turn and it's spence
"hey can we talk?" he says softly while looking at me I just nod and walk towards him and then he leads me to an empty office
"why were you crying last night" he asks quietly
"you" I respond without thinking
he looks shocked but he shouldn't be so shocked "what why?" I sigh and look away "you were my first and you told me you didn't feel anything for me, I can't believe I stayed so close to you after that" I mumbled the first part he barely heard it so to confirm he said "I was your first what" I smile softly "you took my virginity spencer"
(You probably want some background so basically last year spencer and y/n hooked up Spencer thought it was a no strings attached thing and y/n decided to tell him she liked him and he told her he felt nothing that it was nothing but sex he obviously didn't know he was her first but he never really gave her the chance to tell him the whole thing with spence sent y/n into a depressive episode and she confided in Derek and Penelope which is why they know anyway back to the story)
He looks shocked but I knew that his feelings for me are platonic he made that very clear last year "It's okay spence really you can just pretend I never said it" he shook his head "I can't that was an important thing and I was a complete jerk about it"
"Mhm" I hummed in agreement "but we're friends now spence so it's okay" he looks at me dead in the eyes
"we aren't just friends and you fucking know it" he says sternly a hint of anger in his voice he walks closer to me really close so close I can feel his breath on my face he leans down closing the distance between us I kiss him back but then I pull away "what about JJ" I questioned his face dropped for a second "Don't be mad but I was just trying to make you jealous" I looked at him for a while till I laughed
"I know how you can make it up to me" I smile innocently
"oh really how?" he asks
"you could finally fuck me again" he chokes on air and I start laughing till he gets serious again
