I put on my outfit and black high-top converses that Spence bought me a while ago I grab my backpack sliding it on and walk out to an SUV. Starting the car I let it sit for a minute while putting on a playlist named 'songs I want to be respectfully railed to' the playlist makes me feel confident and confidence is definitely what I need tonight.
After 30 minutes of driving, I arrive at the art gallery Spence had invited me and Gideon to. Walking inside my eyes land on boy-genius as he's being hugged by some guy I haven't met. I walk over by Spence and he smiles at me and the other guy walks away "y/n glad you could make it" I laugh lightly at him trying to be serious
"I wouldn't miss it for the world Spence," I say pulling him into a hug
We talk for a minute then two very beautiful girls walk in and the guy from earlier waves us over saying "guys come here" (I think his name was Parker)
Spence turns to me and Gideon asking "Do I look 12 years old to you?" I laugh a little "14." Gideon responds Spence shakes his head and walks away following Parker
"Gideon you didn't have to break his ego," I say laughing while following Spence
"Spencer I'd like you to meet a real movie star"
"A movie star? please she has a supporting role on a television series about beach volleyball. Totally blue-collar" The girl with dark brown hair says rolling her eyes
"I-I'm Lila" The blonde greets Spence
"Hi. I'm Doctor Spencer Reid. uh I'm Spencer you don't have to call me Doctor" she giggles at his stuttering
"I won't"
My stomach starts to hurt as I stand watching them interact with each other. Suddenly I notice some guy behind us taking pictures.
"Hey I thought I told you not to be taking pictures in the gallery," Parker says walking the photographer out of the building
"So uh your not from around here are you?" Lila asks spencer
"Me? no. no. I'm uh we're running a training service about profiling for the Los angles police department" He responds
An hour later
They don't even notice my presence the entire time they were talking I tried to tell Spence I was leaving but he kept ignoring me so I left slightly hurt leaving him there with Lila. Getting in my car I feel tears start to sting my eyes. I wanted to tell Spence how I felt today but he just ignored me the entire time. It kind of hurts you know.
I turn on my car and leave the art gallery heading back to the hotel. My phone starts ringing so I pick up
"Hey y/n where are you?" Gideon asks on the other line
