"What do you want" he sighs rolling his eyes
"Come to dinner with me?"

I groan moving from the uncomfortable position in my chair
Fuck paper work I need coffee
"Em!" I yelled from the Bullpen
"Yeah" she responds walking out of her office towards me
"I'm gonna go get some coffee from somewhere is that okay? the coffee here sucks"
"Yeah just take Matt with you and bring me back something"
I nod and grab Matt pulling him to the elevator
"So we're gonna go get coffee and I need to talk to you about something" I say looking over at him
"About what?" He asks as the elevator opens
"I don't know" I laugh slightly
"Then why say that" He asks rolling his eyes
"Well I was gonna talk to you about something but I forgot" He chuckles at my reasoning as we walk out of the elevator
"I'm gonna start calling you dory cause I think you have short term memory loss"
A few weeks later
"Spence wanna binge watch the star trek movies with me tonight?" he nods his eyes light up "of course and maybe talk about our love lives cause I kind of met this guy the other day" he fidgets with the sleeve of his cardigan "alright my place after you finish paper work" I smile
I turn around in my desk my eyes landing on Luke he looks up at me shooting me a small smile I ignore him and leave the bullpen to do my paperwork with Penelope
"Pen" I say while walking in, she spins around in her chair facing me "What can I do for you my love?" I smile at her she always helps me feel better even if she isn't doing anything "I fucking hate Alvez" I say storming in next to her "Oh welcome to the club sister what'd he do to you?" I try and think but he never specifically did anything but refuse to go out with me "He's just difficult and I miss Derek" She shoots me a look "well then go call him" I nod walking back into the hallway dialing his number
"Hello babygirl" He answers I smile at the sound of his voice immediately feeling better "Hey I miss you Derek and I really could use one of your famous hugs right now" he stays a little quiet before saying "Well today is your lucky day baby Emily needed me to come pick something up so get you're pretty butt in the bullpen I just got here" quickly I hang up and run to the bullpen
Walking in I see Derek talking to Luke I run over to him tackling him into a bear hug he hugs me back immediately "I missed you" I mumble into his shirt before pulling back "I hate that you left now I'm stuck with a dumbass who doesn't realize I'm actually in love with him" I say chuckling Derek gives me a worried look and I realize I forgot Luke was behind us
"Shit, Alvez you heard nothing"
"Actually I did" He says giving me a cocky smirk "You know I think I'll take you up on that date offer" My eyes widen at what he said
"I'm sorry what?" I ask a cocky smirk on my face
"I'll go out on a date with you" he mutters
I start doing a little victory dance "I so won the bet"
