9.

Okay, so I’ve come to the conclusion that Zan is hindering, not helping. So I’m going this whole - solving a mystery- thing all on my own. Well, what else can I do?

So, what have I got so far?

·         There was a car crash, in which (according to Zan) only me and dad survived.

·         We were going to Tunisia

·         I remembered that the day we left to go on holiday, was Uncle Teds birthday.

·         I know that Uncle Teds birthday was the day we left to Tunisia and not any other holiday because Zan said we left on the 19th of August to go to Tunisia. And the 19th of August was Uncle Ted’s birthday.

·         I can’t move, but I did open my eyes, but when I opened my eyes I couldn’t see anything.

·         Zan thinks I am asleep, even though I am awake.

·         Somehow, Zan can tell when my heart beats faster and my breathing speeds up.

Okay, so I wasn’t really getting anywhere but, I’m doing better than Zan so stuff her.

“Hello, Haley how are we doing?”

Again...we?

“I hope you are fine, because I have another brilliant idea!”

Oh please noooo, my brain is hurting. I don’t think I can take it any longer.

“Well, while I tell you the next bit of the story, I’m going to ask you to picture it in your head, K?”

Its ‘OK’ not ‘K’, learn English.

“So where were we? Ah yes...The 19th August was set to be the best day of your lives...think picture your family Haley, while I tell you the story...”

...

*** “Mum, this is going to be the best day of our lives!”

“Sure is Megan, but we have to leave now, or we’ll miss the plane!”

“And then we won’t be able to go to Tunisia, will we?” I chipped in.

“Nope,” said Mum.

We all finished packing the car and set off onto the road, all with massive smiles on our faces, ready for the best holiday of our lives.

“Greg love, it’s easier if you go that way, quicker, and plus there’s a post-box so I can post Uncle Teds birthday Card,”

“Okay, Lucy,”

“Thanks,”

“Are we nearly there yet?”

“Megan! We’ve only just begun!”

“We’ve only just beguuuunnnn!” Sang Mum clearly happy that we were going to Tunisia.

We all laughed then.

“Right be quick posting the card Love, I want to get onto that motorway ASAP,”

“Okay dokay,”

She posted the letter in super-fast time so we were soon onto the motorway.

“Only 2 more hours to go children!”

“Yay!”

“WERE ALL GOING ON A  SUMMER HOLIDAY, NO MORE WORKING FOR A WEEK OR TWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO,” we all sang along to Cliff Richard on the CD player.
