Hi, I'm Emma and this is the first story I ever started writing. I started it off as a role play that was about Lyric, she was my main character. I didn't know what else to do with her for a job while I built up her agency idea, I'm getting ahead of myself about the agency bit, but I remembered that she always loved volleyball, so the idea for her to coach sprouted. Troy was just a name I threw out there when naming off her students and their position on the team, I never knew that that name would mean anything more than just a random one that came to mind. He developed into one of my smaller background characters, and Lyric was having a breakdown because she had seen her mother for the first time in 5 years and I couldn't decide on who to help her, she was sitting on the sidewalk right outside of the gym, with her knees to her chest, hyperventilating. I remembered that Troy was still in the locker room showering after their first game, so he came across her afterwards and tried to calm her down, comforted her. She let him in, which was a shock considering she hardly trusted anyone by themselves let alone to open up about what she was going through, and there a friendship began. So i gave him a backstory, a heartbreak, a friendship with Lyric that grew into much much more than I ever imagined it could. No it's not amazing because again, it was my first story..but I'm really trying, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did making it. 💗
