Chapter 15. When Sarah said follow me and led them down a dark hallway that was connected to her basement they all shared a concerned look, but then they heard the light thumping of bass seeping through the walls the closer they got. "Look at who I found." Sarah announced their arrival as she hopped down the basements steps. Displayed on the leather sectional that probably cost an arm and a leg, was Louis, Wyatt and Archie, and sprawled across the pool table — for some odd reason — was two other people neither of them knew. "Hey" Wyatts hello barely came up his throat after taking a hit from Louis's joint. "Hi guys, people I don't know." She greeted them while she followed Sarah down the stairs, sending a nod towards the stranger's direction who were entangled in one another's arms. "Sterling, Harvin, Beautiful." Archie welcomed them with a lazy wave of his hand, giving a charming smile to Maeve. "Nice try handsome, but I swing for the same team that you do." Maeve divulged and made her way over to the couch. Archies face shifted into utter disappointment while Louis laughed at his failure. "Hii, I'm Olivia." The girl from the pool table who was sprawled out in her boyfriend's lap finally spoke up, her voice along with her entire demeanor bubbly, and welcoming. "Hey, Marco." The guy replied in a murmur, seeming stand offish, and a little uninterested. "I'm Lyric, this is Troy, and that's Maeve." She divulged, motioning in each of their directions when she introduced them. Maeve took a seat next to Archie who seemed to light up again at her close proximity, shooting Olivia a wave. "It's nice to meet you all." Olivia said softly. "Nice to meet you." Troy and Maeve agreed in unison, flashing each other a playful annoyed look. Olivia waited patiently for a moment but they could see the irritation grow stronger in her expression, looking up at Marco and swatting him into submission. He jolted and his eyes quickly shot up to each of them, eyes wide. "Yes, it's great to meet you all." His words practically fell out of his mouth. Olivia beamed happily at his obedience and pulled his face down to meet hers by the collar of his shirt, placing a deep kiss on his lips. Sarah's face twisted and rushed them, "Okay okay, get off lovebirds, before you decide to start getting frisky on it. We're playing pool." Sarah announced and shoed them away, it peaked Troy's interest and he quickly followed behind her. Marco groaned when Olivia drug him off and led him to the free end of the sectional beside Archie and Maeve. "Oh come on what kind of party is this, no truth or dare or spin the bottle? I finally wanted to suck it up and find an excuse to kiss Sterling...again." Louis announced with a cheeky grin spread across his face. Troy felt himself scowl but couldn't control it, and Lyric rolled her eyes playfully, pressing her lips together briefly. "Well, that just sucks, doesn't it, Louis?" She stated sarcastically and plopped down beside him, nuzzling her way in. "Oh come on baby, don't be that way." Louis chuckled out, playfully grasping above her knee. She laughed and swatted his hand away from her, reaching across him to carefully steal the joint that Wyatt had pinched between his pointer finger and thumb. She brought it to her lips and took a long drag from it, letting herself melt back into the couch as it sunk in. She couldn't contain the giddy smile that broke feee and set her head back against the couch, slowly exhaling the smoke from her lungs. Oh wow. After she was done basking in how fantastic it felt she placed the joint in between Louis's lips and he grinned wide, taking hold of it and puffing on it briefly before offering it out to Maeve. Maeve smiled brightly, carefully leaning across Archie's lap to take it, and he looked very pleased. "Thank you, Sir." Maeve said cheerfully and drug a long hit from it. "Geez, save some for the rest of us will you?" Lyric laughed out, Maeve's lips curving around it briefly before Archie gently took it from her. "Yeah, easy there beautiful." He murmured low, and from how Maeve was watching his lips go to work at the joint with that crooked grin he always had, she looked like she was considering switching sides.

Troy couldn't help but look at Lyric, still standing firm at the pool table while Sarah set it up, taking occasional glances up at him to make sure he was still here. His eyes were fixated on her earth shattering smile, and how effortlessly gorgeous she always was, just sitting there, beautiful, happy, breathing. "Harvin?" Sarah snapped him out of it and his eyes shot over to her, her eyebrow cocked. "Are you still going to play?" She inquired. His eyes flickered from her to Lyric a couple of times, he was considering abandoning Sarah to go take the seat next to Lyric, to breathe the same air as her like he so desperately needed, because that was all she'd allow him to do. "Uhm..." He began, but before he could even get one word in to breaking it to Sarah, a creak from the stairs caught his attention. His head turned in the direction and he was quickly unblessed as he had been moments ago by the appearance of Alexander Fucking Miller.
