"Kalyanamstu Subhadra." Krishna smiled.
"You could have called me Bhratashree, why did you trouble yourself ?" Subhadra said.
"Yesterday I got a news, hearing which I couldn't stop myself from coming to you and be the first one to inform you." Krishna said.
"What news ?" Subhadra asked.
"Dau has planned to fix a marriage alliance between you and Duryodhan." Krishna said.
"Duryodhan ? The son of Maharaj Dhritrashtra ?" Subhadra frowned.
"Yes." Krishna nodded.
"I don't want to marry him Bhratashree, the things I have heard about him are far from good, the way he and his brothers treated my sisters and disrespected them...I reject this proposal." Subhadra said.
"But Dau is too adamant on this proposal." Krishna said.
"Then help me Bhrata Krishna." Subhadra requested.
"Subhadra, he is my elder brother....I cannot do anything against him." Krishna said with a mischievous smile.
"Really ? You talk like you haven't defied Dau before ? Now when I need your help the most you deny. Then tell me beside you who is capable of helping me to get out of this situation ?" Subhadra asked.
"Arjun is there." Krishna said.
"Kumar Arjun ?" Subhadra frowned confused.
"Yes, after all I am Arjun and Arjun is myself. Those who follow him follow me, those who are against him are against me. Besides me only Arjun can help you." Krishna said smiling.
"How ?" Subhadra asked.
"Elope with him." Krishna said.
"What !? Bhrata he is my elder sister's husband." Subhadra's eyes widened.
"Oh alright, so you agree to marry Duryodhan. I'll finalize the decision with dau today itself." Krishna said.
"I didn't say that !" Subhadra said. Krishna chuckled.
"Subhadra, remember the promise you made with Tamasvini ?" Krishna asked.
"Yes. That promise was the only thing that gave me hope in Kanyavas." Subhadra said.
"If you marry Arjun, then you and Tamasvini can always be together." Krishna said.
"True.....but what will Tamasvini jiji think of me then ?" Subhadra got worried.
"How can you forget your dear sister Tamasvini, Subhadra ? I thought you would have known that out of everyone in this world, she would never turn her back on you." Krishna said.
"You're right. She would never turn her back on me." Subhadra smiled.
"So you agree ?" Krishna asked.
"Yes Bhrata I agree for elopement. Tell me what do I have to do ?" Subhadra asked.
"Tomorrow in the first prahar, get ready and go to somanath temple and offer your prayers. On your way back you will find Arjun. He will take care of the rest." Krishna said.

The Kshatriyas didn't kidnap the girls they loved ! They eloped with them. There is a difference.
Kidnapping is one sided creepy thing and is unrighteous.
Elopement is when both man and the woman want to get married but their kin don't agree, so they secretly run away to get married.
So Kshatriyas eloped and didn't kidnap or abduct !
This misconception is probably due to translation errors. Maybe the translators translated Haran as abduction instead of elopement.
