It was night time, Krishna and Balram sneaked into the room of Satyamurti.

"Jyestha ?" They nudged, waking her up.

"Yes ?" She asked sitting up.

"We are hungry." Krishna said.

"Very much." Balram added.

"Fine. I will cook something for you." Satyamurti said getting up.

"We'll bring Rajeshwari and Tamasvini also." Balram said.

Satyamurti went to the kitchen as Balram went to Rajeshwari and Krishna went to get Tamasvini.

Here Rajeshwari's room was fully illuminated with lamps, Balram wondered how can she sleep in such bright light.

"Rajeshwari ?" Balram shook her.

"Who's there !? Tell me !" Rajeshwari sat straight up pulling a dagger from behind her pillow.

"Wow ! Wow ! Relax Hasini ! Its me, Dau." Balram said.

"Dau ? Why are you here at this time ?" Rajeshwari asked.

"Satyamurti jiji is cooking." Balram said, and a smile appeared on Rajeshwari's face.

"Midnight meal ?" She asked.

"Midnight meal." He confirmed.

"Then what are you waiting for ! Lets go !" Rajeshwari said running outside the room.

"Quietly ! If Subhadra wakes up, we'll be screwed." Balram whispered yelled.

On the other side, Krishna tried to find his way in the almost completely dark room of Tamasvini. He sighed in relief when he finally located her bed.

"Tamasvini ?" Krishna shook her, she hummed in response.

"Its Midnight meal time." He said.

"Hmmm..." Tamasvini hummed, still half asleep.

"Wake up Anuradha." Krishna said, but she was in deep slumber.

Krishna sighed, he picked her up and puts her on his shoulder. Her pillow still in her hands, Tamasvini was still too sleepy to contemplate anything.

Krishna carried her to the kitchen where Satyamurti was cooking kheer as Balram and Rajeshwari eagerly waited for it to get ready.

He puts Tamasvini on the chair-like asan, where she curls into a ball clutching her pillow. The other siblings shook their heads.

"Her sleep is deeper than the ocean." Rajeshwari said.

"At least she is not pissed off, or else the entire hell would've broken loose. Thank Narayan for that." Balram said.

"You're welcome dau." Krishna said.

"What ?" Rajeshwari asked.

"Nothing." Krishna smiled.

"And here is your kheer ready." Satyamurti said serving it.

"Thank you jiji." They all said.

They sat down at the chair-like asans, Krishna looked at Tamasvini still fast asleep. He took a little kheer in his hands and puts it in her mouth, waking her up.

"Wake up now." Krishna said.

"No." She mumbled chewing the kheer, clutching the pillow closer.

The rest of the siblings chuckled, as to how cute Tamasvini was when asleep.

"She is just like a doll." Balram said.

"More like a haunted doll." Rajeshwari chuckled.

"A doll is a doll nevertheless." Balram said caressing her head.

Suddenly the kitchen door burst open, as little Subhadra came holding the hands of Devki and Rohini.

"See Maiyya, I told you they were sneaking in the kitchen." Subhadra said.

"M-maiyya ?" They muttered nervously.

"Satyamurti, explain." Rohini said.

"Kanha and Balram told me they were hungry so I cooked kheer for them. It was their idea to bring Rajeshwari and Tamasvini also." Satyamurti said.

"Poor Tamasvini jiji is still asleep." Subhadra said.

"You and your Tamasvini jiji." Balram sighed.

"You said something ?" Rohini maiyya asked

"N-no." Balram said.

"Look at yourselves, all grown up and still acting like kids." Devki maiyya said.

"And Kanha-Balram, how many times do I have to remind you that you both are married ?" Rohini asked.

"True Mata, I wonder what Bhabhishrees will think." Subhadra said.

"You come here !" Balram said.

"Now now !" Rohini said.

"All of you, go back to your room !" Devki maiyya said.

"Sure." All of them ran outside.

Rohini and Devki sighed as Subhadra chuckled. Suddenly Krishna sneakingly made his way back into the kitchen.

"What are you doing Bhrata ?" Subhadra asked.

Krishna glared at Subhadra as Rohini and Devki angrily looked at him.

"Tamasvini." Krishna said picking her up and then running outside again.
