"The Meeting"

The Parade started and after District One went, Melissa and Lucas were next.

The crowd went wild the second they saw Melissa; they were thinking Makayla was back. But it was her daughter. Melissa, waved, blew kisses, and made it seem like she loved to be there. She did but only for the killing bit.

On the television:
"There goes District 1 and here comes District 2, is that Makayla Snow." Ceaser Flickerman said.

"No I think that's her daughter, remember Ceaser she is a Becker now. And according to the list, that is Melissa Becker, female volunteer for District 2."

"Wow well isn't that a wonderful coincidence."

After the parade, Makayla basically attacked Melissa into a hug, gushing on how beautiful she was, how stunning her outfit is, how desirable she will be and how she was exactly like her when she was younger. Then the crying started.

Makayla started crying on how her father wasn't here to see it, Melissa was growing up so fast and how much she misses Maverick, Angie, and Enobaria.

After being led to the district 2 floor/apartment, Makayla finally calmed down.

"I am sorry darling but being back here makes me emotional." Makayla apologized, sitting on the bed, they were in the chosen room for Melissa.

"I know mum." Melissa said, changing from behind the curtain, you could see her silhouette.

"When did you get those." Her mother pointed out, while starting at the silhouette of her daughter's naked body.

"What are you taking about mother?" Melissa chuckled, putting on tennis shorts.

"Your boobs, darling!" Makayla exclaimed excitedly.

"I have had these since I was fourteen mother."

"No, you didn't you had a flat chest."

"When I was thirteen, I'm a late bloomer mother you were one to."

"Huh?"

After Melissa, change fully and had dinner she decided to go to the rooftop of the building.

Climbing the steps and opening door, she saw a silhouette of him. He was in a somewhat suit looking outfit. Melissa walked closer to him and put a hand on his shoulder causing him to jump.

"Oh, hey." Finnick said, looking up at Melissa from his seated position.

"Hi." Melissa said, sitting next to him.

"I saw you and your mother at the parade." He started trying to make it less awkward.

"Yeah, she really wanted to say hello to you, but Brutus said not to." She said, looking at him.

Finnick faced the sky, "Yeah I have tributes who are scared shitless."

"Burden."

"Their fine really good in combate an-" Finnick stopped himself from saying anything else.

"Good catch." Melissa said, with a smirk on her face.

"Yes, even though we are friends, you still are a career, and that's bad." He spoke.

"Shame we couldn't just go in together kill everyone, isn't it?" She said, moving some of his hair out of his face.

There face inches apart.

"You're crazy." He spoke.

"I know." She said with a smirk, "Sponsor me, yeah. I have to go mother will get worried."

"Bye Finnick." She said, standing up as well as him.

"Bye Mia." He said, kissing her forehead.

Walking away together with their hands brushing against each other. Until they got to District 2's floor, waving goodbye she walked onto the floor.
