"In the games"

She looked to the left and looked to the right. She was hoping she couldn't see Finnick. If she could see Finnick, she might cry.

They horn went off and she flew through the water. She got to the Cornucopia second after the person she wanted to see more than she thought. The first greeting wasn't pleasant.

Melissa got out of the water. Running to the knifes she was stopped by an arm. She looked at the hand and knew instantly who it was.

"Odair."

"Becker."

"Let me go and I'll leave."

"Promise."

"Promise."

Though they loved each other they were fighting for life and death for the second time and that changes people.

Finnick let her go she grabbed to sashes of knifes and a sword, swam to shore, looked back once with a glint of sadness in her eyes, and then...ran into the jungle.

Finnick stared at where she disappeared, until he saw Katniss out of the corner of his eye.

They jungle was hot and humid; she chooses to have no allies so no one to worry about but herself and it.

She started getting tired, but she couldn't sleep because she was alone. She heard a beep.

'Isn't it too early to get sponsors.' She thought.

She found the metal canaster hanging from a tree close to her. 'Apparently not.'

She opened it and it was a vial of blue liquid, attached was a note.

Drink for the tiredness,
Mom

She drank it and gag, but she didn't feel as tired.

She spent the rest of the night hunting for small birds and waited until morning to start the fire.

When the sun was fully out, she started a small fire, she cooked a bird. She heard a small rustle in the bushes.

She took out her sword and walked towards it. Out came Mags.

"Mags." She whispered. "What are you doing here. You're with Finnick aren't you."

Mags nodded.

"Don't tell him I'm here okay."

Mags nodded again.

"Okay."

The following night she moved into a different area of the arena.
