"The second assessment"

The next day the rumors and the assessments stared.

The rumor about Melissa getting a tattoo as a reporter caught her on camera leaving the place.

Cashmere was in shock she actually got a tattoo, Melissa always talked about getting one, but she never thought she would get one.

The day of the assessments the second Melissa walked in Cashmere ran up to her and looked at her neck.

"You actually did it." Cashmere exclaimed in a whisper.

"Of course, I did. Why wouldn't I?" Mel asked.

"I don't know, thought Finnick talked you out of it." The older girl said.

"He was but when I told I would put my name as his last name he was cool with it." The younger girl said.

"Cashmere, District 1." The robotic voice said.

"Bye, see you later for the scores." Cashmere said as she got up.

A minute after Gloss finished, it was now Melissa's turn.

She did her routine from when she was a tribute, plus the simulation, making her look ten time better as she used her flexibility to help her move easier.

By the time she was done she had a sure 10 in the bag.

When she went into the penthouse, she showered, dressed in a white crop top and pink skirt. Practiced in the dance room on the penthouse Snow included for her, she also taught Mabel as like her mother and grandmother the little girl wanted to be a ballerina.

Mabel was advanced for her age, as was her mother. The only thing she apparently got from her 'father' is the blonde hair and blue eyes, but everything else from her mother, dance skills included."

"Mommy people are saying you got tat-oo. What is that?" Mabel asked as Melissa having her do positions on the barre.

"It is a form of ink on one's skin Bel, I did get two, with your name and mine." Melissa said, as she fixed her daughters arms.

"Can I see it?" Mabel questioned, as she looked at her mother with her doe shaped eyes.

"Yes, Bel after practice." Mel said,

After that Mabel worked harder in practice, until it was almost time for the scores.

The careers and Finnick were coming over.

Mabel went to shower and change, as did Melissa.
